I brought my 2018 Subaru Outback into Premier Subaru of Middlebury September 18, 2023 because I was having difficulty starting my car. The problem was a communication chip that needed to be replaced. In order for me to be able to start my car as usual by depressing the brake and pushing the start button, the module was disconnected. This solved the starting problem but also made it impossible to use my iPhone with the Subaru STARLINK System. I have been waiting almost 6 weeks for the part to come in and be installed. Every time I call to check I am told rather curtly that it is back ordered. Meanwhile, I am without use of one of the features that was important to me when I purchased this vehicle.

My mother who is elderly has purchased more than 7 Subaru's from this dealer over the past few decades. She recently purchased a new car here and was promised important safety features would be on her new car that were not delivered. When we raised the concern with the company, their response was to pay another $1,800 to get the feature or to pay a 3rd party which would void the warranty. How sad they would treat an elderly person this way.

I have previously given this dealership multiple glowing reviews. I have purchased multiple new cars from Premier Middlebury and previously when it was Premier Watertown. Generally speaking I would only have great things to say about both the sales department and the service department... However at the purchase of my most recent vehicle I was swindled into purchasing their "extended warranty"... Now this may come as a surprise as Premier offers an excellent "lifetime power train warranty"... I was told by the financial manager that if I purchased this additional warranty that all my routine services, oil changes, etc would be covered for the first 125,000 miles... "it pays for itself" he says... "the only catch is that the service has to be completed here at premier"... As someone who commutes a great distance daily for work, naturally I accept... I come in today for my first oil change on my new car at 6,000 only to find there is allegedly no such thing.

What more can I say about the service at premiere Subaru Middlebury! Walk in 10 minutes to close. Say hey guys. Can you wash my car then when you're done park it up at your EV charging station and leave it there overnight and charge it for me? Oh and keep the keys. Can you do that?? The manager at the service department goes above and beyond to Make the Subaru family promise a reality. Really strong commitment in this new location. Go check them out!!

I originally posted a great review for this dealership, and I still do love my new car. At time of purchase, I was going to trade in my Mini Cooper, but the bank never sent me the original title. I was offered 7000$ for my Mini during this purchase. When I realized I had to get my title, I paid cash and was told they would take the car and reimburse me when I received the title. It took almost 4 weeks for the process going to the DMV twice. Finally, I have the title and Premer Subaru is only offering me 6000$ for the same car. It is very disappointing. My salesperson did warn me the price may change but 1000$ is ALOT of change. I didn't move or drive the car and had to keep it on insurance. My husband called and there was no negotiating. He left a voicemail for Kerri, but she didn't return the call. It is very frustrating and disappointing. Kerri recently posted that she never received a call from us but that is untrue. She obviously knows she has an unhappy customer and she knows my name, but no call. Once the car was sold to me, they decided my car was worth less. Now I have to figure out what to do. Thanks Premier Subaru.

I’ve contacted this establishment a couple of times now and asked for this shady company to delete and unsubscribe me fromTheir system. The Female shifted the blame to the fact that it was a 3rd party service and wasn’t their fault. Here I am continuing to be contacted by them. Leave me alone! I will never use your rip off shop. Stop contacting me!Service: General repairs & maintenance
