My fiancee and I purchased a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee back in December of 2017. The salesman chris, had been driving this vehicle for some time and had immediately explained that the shifter was faulty having to shift into 2nd and then back up into drive for the gear to engage. We didn't think anything of it at first but some time went by and we noticed the transmission was slipping quite a bit. We immediately contacted Chris and he said to bring it down to have a look. Knowing we were in need of a car so my fiancee could get to work he offered us a rental while our car was being worked on. It was brought to budget transmission in west haven (personally I would never go thru them again they had our jeep for over a month and eventually decided to put a used tranny in Chris did fight for a rebuild but the warranty company wouldnt go for it) The first rental car we received has issues as well but he immediately traded it out for something different. He was always kind and generous and willing to work with us. He has also been very patient with us in payments as he understands things happen that we cant always control. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the issues with the jeep when we received it but we also understand it is an older vehicle and you cannot expect an older vehicle to behave 100% of the time. Yes our car has many issues but it's much better than not having a car at all. We had very little money to work with and Chris was always helpful and understanding of our situation. I have read some of these reviews and some of them are absurd. People complaining out small issues with much older cars. What do you expect. I personally have nothing against these guys because in my experience with them yes things happen that you cannot control. All we can do it work together to find a solution.

TRASH ASS BUSINESS. Vehicle I signed and put a 500$ NON REFUNDABLE down payment on went left real quick vehicle was inoperable and instead of giving me my money back I was giving a alternative option of a stick shift vehicle in which I don't know how to drive! COMMUNICATION IS KEY, don't bother trying defend yourself cause i'm not trashing y'all for no reason do better.

A few years back I bought a truck from Rides by Ryan the only problem I've had with the truck was after a few weeks one of my headlights was flickering - Called them and they said bring it down - I did and it turned out to be a clip where the headlight clipped in - one of the guys in the shop ran down the parts store and got one 20 mins later I was out - I only bring this up now because last week I had my check engine light come on in my car of course a week before emissions test - Ryan diagnosed it as a bad pcv valve that is built into the value cover - 2 days later I take it through no problem - The staff is knowledgeable - professional and concerned - as a matter of fact I've sent some friends there who purchased cars and have never heard a complaint - I would highly recommend Rides by Ryan

I had one of his employees Facebook message my boyfriend about how if I went on the lot again I was going to be punched in the face. I bought a car from here they where awful. I did get a reply from Ryan saying that the employee that wrote the Facebook message was fired but I highly doubt it. Just very unprofessional they steal your money overpriced cars and take forever to fix your vehicle.

My husband and I drove an hour to look at a "great" vehicle. Not great. Not even close. And if you have dogs in the office that are prone to bite a customer, they probably shouldn't be around customers. *** Since I can't respond to your response I will here. The driver leather seat was split down the middle. The driver side rear tire was leaking air making us unable to do a decent test drive. The wear on the outside of both back tires indicated trouble in the rear of some type. This vehicle was not worth $6000. No warranty offered "as is" And the engine looked like it had seen a very hard 140k miles. We wanted to talk to you, however you could not spare us a 5 minute conversation after we drove an hour to see you. You want to make us look like we were in the wrong? Fine. Looks like you are pretty good at doing that to anyone who replys negatively. Actually says alot about YOUR character, sir. Here's a tip: Don't act like you can't be bothered to talk to potential customers until it comes to google reviews. Be a stand up guy, come out and at least speak to people who come see you instead of sitting in your office with the lights off.

Rides by Ryan serviced my 2002 Maxima's brakes and he and his team were fair, honest and explained is detail what was needed. Car dealers and garages get a bad rep but Ryan was fair and honest. I have friends that have also worked with him and no one has a complaint.
