Matt was our associate. He is very knowledgeable and so easy to work with. The car was in mint condition when we got it. They went over and above. The finance man was very friendly and explained everything to us.

Both me and my mom were looking for lease end options after not having favorable options from our current auto brand. We were referred to Meriden Hyundai by a family member and were met with the best experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and asked if we needed assistance. We were offered water and sat for barely anytime before someone came over (Spencer Used Car Manager) and walked us through their process and got some information from us. We like filled out a dealer questionnaire that took the information of our current vehicles and what we were wanting to look at. Spencer then pulled around a few options and gave us as much time as we needed to look at each option. While we were doing that Curtis came over who was a sales advisor and was going to finish helping us with the process. He walked us through all of our options: financing and leasing and helped us find what worked for us. Curt spent so much time making sure everything was right and wanted us to walk out that day with our new vehicles and we did! He was so efficient and detail oriented. We even got to talk to the owner who was so kind and accommodating. When we were brought over to the finance office where we met Justin Hagan the finance director and he was awesome. He made the documentation easy to understand and super easy to complete. He struck up conversation and made it feel like we were family. When it was all said and done both myself and my mom walked out of Meriden Hyundai with new cars! We love them and loved our experience at Meriden Hyundai!

Worst service, they always have no availability for service. I fixed my car having suspension strut and it is not even a month, I am getting the same sound. They would have properly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. They made me spend money to fix it and when I call them back due to same issue within a month. They were just simply saying "it might be with the part", why would I get the same issue if it is something wrong with the part. I feel, they failed to fix the issue and I have to wait to get the appointment. This is so frustrating.

I went to service for a defective engine warranty, and they are definitely not honoring the warranty, they accepted through a document that the engine is defective but they said they are not going to do anything!!!! Definitely unacceptable for consumers to fall into these traps!!!! And they say that they are the majority of Hyundais with the same problem and the company's actions definitely seek to get rid of responsibility!! I would not recommend anyone to continue purchasing
Hyundai! We have been paying the vehicle to Hyundai Motor Finance since 2021, and it is not fair that the company itself that is receiving the money does not comply in the same way with the consumer when it comes to a warranty claim! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

We had a problem with our Santa Fe while visiting from out-of-town. I called Meriden Hyundai and spoke with Amy. She was kind and professional, and when I told her about the car problem, she immediately set my mind at ease by explaining what was probably causing the problem. The very next morning, we brought our car to Meriden Hyundai, and the problem was fixed in less than an hour. We are super grateful for the great service we received at Meriden Hyundai.

Not great experience today with the Service department. Horrible wait times, although my vehicle was serviced and parked up front once complete within a reasonable time it took over 30 minutes to check me out. I spent almost 2 hours there! I’m giving 2 stars because Amy was doing her best and was apologetic, otherwise it would have been zero.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I didn’t encounter the friendliest people when I was shopping for a car. Ended up buying from a nicer competitor down the road.

Stopped in to test drive a vehicle , we were promptly greeted by MATT! we were surprised by how busy the Dealership Was and By our EXCELLENT experience ! These days we often feel that Customer Service is Dead , NOT at Meriden Hyundai !
Our experience with Matt was friendly, and Professional and we did Not feel pressured or pursued with "Sales Tactics ".
Regardless if we decide to purchase this particular vehicle, we WILL BE RECOMMENDING Matt AND Meriden Hyundai!

Since it's googles policy for reviews not to contain personal info I will leave the name out. I am not sure if I am even allowed to include even the first name of the sales person when leaving this review.
Prior to picking up the car, I requested a set of 4 (2 front and 2 back) mudguards as part of the purchase price agreement. My sales person agreed to install and include them. Prior to picking up the car, she promised they would be installed at the time of pick up. When I picked up my car from Meriden Hyundai, it was at that moment that my sales person informed me the mudguards did not arrive and gave me some story that the service manager lost the order form so they were not ordered.
A few days later, my sales person informed me she received the mudguards. I advised her that I would prefer her to mail them to me as she could not guarantee me a time of how long I would be waiting at service to have them installed. I received a VM from her acknowledging she would mail me the mudguards along with a copy of the registration. I also made a call to Meriden Hyundai and requested to speak to the manager. They claimed he was busy and was told they would have him call me back. I received absolutely no phone call back. I text my sales person back and asked about sending me screws to attach my front license plate and a physical copy of the registration mailed with the mudguards. I also requested a copy of the tracking number. I received absolutely no response from her. The next day, I left my sales person a voice message and asked her to return my call. I received absolutely no call from her. I also followed up with a text, but I received absolutely no response back. It was abundantly clear, she decided to put me on ignore. Interestingly, the day I picked up the car, my sales person informed me that if I had any questions or concerns to reach out to her and she would get right back to me. When I do, she chooses to put me on ignore instead of helping and assisting me with my concerns. And to this day, I have not received any call or text back in any capacity from the dealer or from my sales person even though I have reached out repeatedly. I have also not received the mudguards as promised and owed so I was forced to contact the Dept. of Consumer Protection in order to obtain what was owed to me. It was only after they received my complaint, that they sent their delivery person to my home to deliver them. Things should never have got to this point. Based on my experience, it is abundantly clear that Meriden Hyundai does not care about their customers after the sale. I will never do business, get my car serviced there nor recommended Meriden Hyundai to anyone.
This is by no means any way to treat a customer, especially one who just spent over $28,000 on a new car. This is inexcusable.

I just recently purchased a 2024 Palisade XRT from Meriden Hyundai. Usually I dread going to dealerships to purchase a vehicle but not this time. Julieta worked with me to find the exact vehicle I was looking for at a resonable price. She was not pushy at all and made purchasing a vehicle easy and stress free!
I would highly recommend Meriden Hyundai and speak with Julieta, you wont regret it!

My wife and I were in the market for a Certified used Hyundai Tucson And we happened to be in Meriden And decided To go to the Hyundai dealer in Meriden just to look. When we arrived, we were greeted by Curtis. So we told him what we were interested in seeing but that we were only looking, so he showed us three cars. After sitting with him for five minutes, we knew we were going to buy a car from him. He explained in great detail all of the options that each car had, along with the warranties and financing options. My wife and I have purchased at least four cars together but never have we had such a great experience as this one. Curtis was going on vacation that Monday so he introduced us to Elliott Sanchez another great sales consultant. On the day we picked the car up, Elliott took the time to show us how all of the many options on the car worked, paired our phones, and answered any other questions we had as though he was the one who sold us the car. Another person who was great to deal with was Justin the finance director. He spent almost an hour with us just talking about Family and the history of the dealership. He made spending quite a bit of money on a car A very pleasurable experience. Because of these 3 individuals, I would buy another car from this dealership and recommend anyone Who is in the market for a new or used car to come in and ask for Curtis Or Elliott. And after that, you will eventually meet Justin.
