This place is truly a great place for clothing and foot wear!! Now it is a little pricey but they always have sales!! At first I didn't want to go but I did and ended up buying some sneakers. Being hard on my footwear I thought they wouldn't make it past 3 months! I have to admit the sneakers so far are going on second year so I bought another pair!!! Employees very helpful and store atmosphere is very nice and clean! You really should try this place well worth the trip!!

Helpful and patient staff! We were there for a while deciding as there were ample choices of shoes and multiple people in our party shopping for footwear. The salespeople took the time to search in back for specific sizes and colors. In the end, we purchased 3 pair of shoes/boots at a great price (buy one/ get 2 at 50% off each). They then gave us great advice on dining. Merrell has been a trusted brand for us. Very comfortable for hiking / outdoor / longterm wear. I replaced a 20+ year old pair that is still has an excellent exterior. Understandably, the interior has been worn -- but stood by me on many a hike. Great products. Friendly staff.

I used to love this store until my last two experiences there. I bought two pairs of boots as a gift for Christmas. AFTER checking out the sales associate (who I found out later was a store manager) told me the items were non-returnable. I immediately asked to return the items as the were for a gift and I was unsure if they would fit/or be liked by the recipient. She immediately stated I can not refund because they are nonrefundable. I HAD NOT EVEN LEFT THE STORE WITH THE PURCHASE. Fast forward two weeks. I had given my mother tooth pairs of boots. One pair ended up being two different sizes. I attempted to exchange that pair of shoes for a pair that were both the same size. The store did not have a pair in the correct size.the associate who originally sold me the shoes happened to be the person helping me again. I asked for a store manager sp I could explain the issue and attempt to get a refund. She immediately told me she was a manager and I could either be nice or leave her store. I had been nothing but pleasant the entire time. She on the other hand was extremely rude and disrespectful from the start both times. I used to work in customer service and I completely understand the lack of respect some customers have. I ended up getting my refund for the shoes however I was not refunded the entire amount I spent even though I had my receipt. I will never shop at this location again. I also believe this manager should attend some type of additional training on how to effectively manage a retail store. ALL of these issues could have been resolved if she had 1). Checked to make sure both shoes were the same size and 2). Told me these items were non-returnable before I completed my transaction.

Great store and always a great experience. Massive selection, super friendly staff that isn't pushy, and great deals you can't find online. Everytime I'm in CT or at Foxwoods, I pop into this Merrell Outlet.

What an absolutely horrible experience. These are $150-170 boots that didn't even last a year. They have been worn 15 times. I contacted Merrell and they basically told me they don't care. I tripped in these boots on concrete and if I had broken something we would see how well they do in front of a jury. But we as smart shoppers need to be the jury. DO NOT BUY HIGH PRICED JUNK. Merrell won't stand behind their junk. I had a pair of boots fail by Columbia footwear and they replaced the boots immediately and gave me an extra $50 gift card. They actually care about their customers and to Merrell the customer is garbage, just like their products. Beware.
