After an awful experience with a different jewelry store who left my custom ring unrecognizable, Heidi was so understanding and reassured me that they could restore my ring- the finished product was truly stunning. Graders has a customer for life.(I was so thrilled, I snapped a picture before I even left the parking lot!)”

The store smells so nice (from those candles and diffusers) and the atmosphere is very inviting. It appears they put out new inventory all the time. Worth a visit!”

“They have such beautiful things in this place. They have vintage jewelry as well as new jewelry and it is in a delightful setting. The store is cute and quite beautiful. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was looking at jewelry that might have some white gold or platinum or silver in estate jewelry but I didn't have any luck. They had a great selection of yellow gold and their window displays were beautiful.”

“We needed some gravel for a fire pit area. Extremely nice people at Geer’s and very helpful. We picked out our stone and they delivered it within an hour! I was worried we would have to wait a few days if not a week for delivery, but nope! And super affordable! I thought it would be a lot more expensive than it was. “I, like many locals and visitors alike, love this shop! It definitely has a wide assortment of very creative, made in the USA items. That is one of the big draws for me. I gave it five stars because of the kind owner and the eclectic shop. But, to be honest, I would give it four stars due to one employee that does not seem to enjoy her job.This experience is based on two other occasions when I’ve been shopping while she’s been working.The off putting, rub you the wrong way attitude, is not appreciated.If I had to guess about the incident that happened with an another reviewer, my guess would be this was the same employee.I really do enjoy shopping here because of its unique and beautiful items. But, in the future, I will call ahead in hopes that the lovely woman (Marilyn) whom I recently met, will be working instead. “An absolutely lovely experience! I came in to get my ring cleaned on vacation, and the inspector was able to let me know that several prongs on my side diamonds were loose. She just might have saved me a loss or two! While I wasn't able to have my ring repaired there due to my travels, their generosity and time is appreciated.”

“I’ve been going to this store since I was a little kid and my mom worked in the Village. This store never disappoints. Its still fabulous today as it was when I first set foot in this store in 1974. Thankful for its charm, its staff and the owners who have been so helpful with whatever item you’re looking for. If they don’t have it…they order it. Somethings change as we get older… this store just gets better. My Dad has since passed, but he always took time to take me here, even if it was just to look at the “WeeFolks” which they still sell and I enjoy looking at and thinking of my Dad.I highly recommend this store for any gift giving need and even just to stop in and look at its beautiful items and say hi to the staff. “Smooth and easy experience. I called ahead to request information about some items that I was selling. I was told to swing by and I ended up getting more than I expected for all of my items. I was treated with digintiy and respect and given a fair price for my items. I would definitely use them again if I needed to, and I am only giving 5 stars because that is the maximum. Highly recommend.”

He also spent a lot of time with us answering any questions we might have. I left with the most beautiful pearl necklace and earrings I have ever seen. We live in Texas, but will always plan on visiting Stephen at his store every time we visit Connecticut.”
