Very small store, little overcrowded, over priced, poor customer service. We bought a bottle of Henny and then as we were looking at the nips, the lady at the counter kept looking at me and my husband like we were going to steal something — def not cool! I know it’s a college based area but if you’re that untrustworthy of your customers get security cameras or whatever but don’t make your customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were so annoyed with every move we made she was eyeing us that we ended up not looking at anything else and left with just that one bottle.

Time after time, night after night, just when all seems lost: I can always count on Storrs Wine and Spirits. Nothing better than this local package store! It's conveniently located on campus and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. I've been a loyal customer for years now and they've never steered me wrong. Excellent selection, always have the latest trends in stock. Would recommend to any good pal of mine.

I went to this store at 945-950 on a Wednesday night when they said they were open till 10 pm and the lights were off and the doors locked. I am very disappointed because that is false advertisement. If you close early I feel like you should redo your online information. Very dissatisfied

Adequate selection of beer, wine and liquor, but these guys are dishonest! Watch out for deceptive price labeling and overcharging! Always check what they're charging you against the price you think you're paying. Insist on an itemized receipt. Twice I have caught them overcharging me by $1 compared to their advertised price on beer. The first time this happened, I could write it off as an honest mistake, but the second time it's clear that this is a deliberate practice. When I called them on it, at first they tried to tell me I was wrong (believe me or your lying eyes), then when I proved it to them, they grudgingly refunded me the extra dollar, without apologizing. They looked pretty pissed off, especially since there were several other customers in the store at the time. If you regularly buy from this store, they are probably skimming extra off your purchase compared to the advertised price on the label on a regular basis. Buyer beware...

Quite a nice spirit shop that just opened up in Storrs Center. The owner is incredibly nice -- I was looking to purchase an Easter wine, and he not only pointed me to a delicious rosé, but he also opened a sample bottle of it (a day earlier than planned) just so that I could try it. If you want to support a small business owner, this is a great place to consider!
