I've been going to Storrs Automotive since 2021 when I bought my first car. I'm now on my second car and moved out of the UConn area, but still come to Roy for his honest opinion and fair prices. Recently, I was quoted $6,000 for services by a Subaru dealership. I asked Roy to check out my car and sure enough, a good amount of the items that were quoted were A) not inspected properly by the dealership technicians and B) weren't an issue. I am always impressed by Roy's attention to detail and quality of service. I HIGHLY recommend Storrs Automotive!

We recently had a problem that may have been a minor mistake by one of his technicians and he is ensuring that it gets fully addressed, without any hassle.
He's a genuine, old school, trustworthy and honest mechanic. Hard to find these days. You can't go wrong with Storrs Automotive.

Fantastic experience with Roy. Our son is at UCONN and his car was having problems. Roy had it fixed in 2 days for a very reasonable price. Called me several times during the process to let me know what was going on. If your child is at UCONN with a car that needs service, absolutely bring it here.

Best garage ever.
I was notified of a bad oil leak when I went to Walmart to change oil for my car.
Then one of my roommate recommended Storrs Auto to me saying that they are really decent people who had broken a lie by some other garage and saved thousands of bucks for my roommate.
And they really are, it only cost me 50+ bucks to repair the leak+ an oil change within 1.5 hours. I was astonished by their professional work and fair price.
My sincere respect and best wishes to Storrs Auto.

I had to take my car to them because of emergency and only they had the appointments. They identified my car's emission issue properly, that's fine. But to change a $15 worth Air Filter, they charged me $147 (including tax) which seemed insane to me! I found them way too pricey than the other auto-shops nearby.[ In response to the reply given by the owner: I actually meant the TOTAL costs which of course includes the labor cost. Before the inspection, you didn't mention anything about the labor charge (i.e. how much per hour). The problem seemed too trivial to be charged for an hour labor charge. And, how the review can be LIE if I mention the total price correctly? ]

They are great! Roy can diagnose your car problem, and get the job done correctly and on time. I use Storrs Automotive for both routine maintenance and complex repair jobs. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Charged me $120 for an oil change. Went there a second time to resolve an issue caused by the first time I took my car there and I was dumb enough to let the guy make an axle rod adjustment. My car has been shaking when I drive ever since. Dude's a scumbag, don't ever take your car there.

Roy was great! Called on a Friday afternoon an hour before closing. They fixed my daughters car and returned it before they closed. Price was also more than fair. I would highly recommend.

I walked in to get some AIR in my tire in a slightly cold and icy day. I was over cautious to drive with the low tire pressure around storrs campus. I waited patiently for the man at the front desk to end a lengthy call and kindly asked if I can get some air for one of my tire. The old man glimpsed my body with a nasty attitude and told me: " if you want to get tire pressure checked in this weather you would have to pay 34 dollars for our service." I was shocked to the ground but I was vulnerable and wanted nothing but to drive safely home after a long day of school. I had no choice but pay them 34 dollars for AIR. I am never coming back to this place again.
