Told them the exact vaccine we wanted our puppy to get. After leaving and reviewing the paperwork they gave her the wrong vaccine. The woman checking us in wouldn't listen to what we were saying but, the rest of the process was great.

This is the second time this elderly lady that checks you in gave me attitude for showing up early. Then she tells her coworker it’s so aggravating that’s when I told her is there a problem.

DO NOT GO HERE! This is not a safe place to get your pets groomed. My grandmother brought her dog here to be groomed many times however, the most recent time, her dog came home sick with diarrhea and coughing, couldn't drink or eat, making noises, just not at all herself. Finally, my grandmother realized that the groomers tightened the dog's collar so tight she could barely get it undone. The poor dog was so uncomfortable and couldn't eat or move properly because her collar was so tight. This is ANIMAL ABUSE and neglect! If this is how they send the dogs home, I can only imagine what they do behind closed doors when owners aren't there.

Today we brought one of our dogs to this Petco in Willimantic for a haircut, her appointment was scheduled at 1:30 so I got to the place at about 1:15 to check in. When I got there the lady was very rude at the front and there were only 2 women working at the time. She had a really bad attitude and I had really bad vibes sending my dog in the back with her. Not to mention I had to sign a form that cuts and nicks wouldn't be there responsibility if they cut my dog!! It was absolutely ridiculous! At Petco you can see into where the dogs have haircuts so me and my mom were waiting to see if we could see our dog and an hour and a half passed and she still wasn't brought out. My mom and I decided to go in and ask what was going on and how much longer it would be. We were then informed that they were waiting for my dog to dry after she had a bath and they had to re bathe her because she had an accident in the back because of how scared and uncomfortable she was. Me and my mom asked for our dog because we didn't trust these lady's at all and they were very unprofessional. I highly recommend not bringing your dog to this Petco for a haircut, we've never had problems with haircuts and waiting two hours for a small dog to have a haircut is just way too long. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

We don't do regular full grooming but pop in for a quick nail trim for our dog from time to time. It seems like the majority of the time we go in to get our dog's nails trimmed, the grooming hours vary from what the website indicates. A lot of the times the grooming staff is there but just not willing to do the 10 min service because they're "closing early". I think we will be finding a more consistent and reliable groomer going forward.

My puppy puffy got a grooming here. The staff was super nice and friendly, she even put two cute little bows on her which makes her look so pretty. I love my experience there!

The girl that took care of my pug Bella did a fantastic job. Very kind to her. She won Pat her after doing her nails,brushing her teeth etc. She really cared about my dog. I would recommend her highly.

The service at this Petco is terrible. Stood around waiting for help while employees were on their cell phones. Not the first time this has happened. They act like buying something is a inconvenience! Bought fish here several Times in the past and many of them died immediately. One time between the store and the car. When we brought them back in we got a major attitude. Ended up returning them all and having to call corporate to complain. Used the discount coupon at a different petco-- what a different experience. Polite staff. Quick service. And the fish we purchased are still alive and healthy. I wouldn't go to this store location for anything. It's not like they had an off day-- they are Consistently terrible!
