Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Customer Service at CVS Pharmacy, 8 Royce Circle, Storrs, CT 06268Dear [CVS Pharmacy Manager/Corporate Customer Service],I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service at the CVS Pharmacy located at 8 Royce Circle, Storrs, CT 06268. My recent experiences have been disheartening and reflect poorly on the reputation of your establishment. The primary issues I have encountered include prolonged wait times, unhelpful and indifferent staff, and a general lack of attentiveness to customer needs. On numerous occasions, I have found myself waiting excessively at the pharmacy counter, despite there being minimal customers present. This has led to frustration and inconvenience.Furthermore, the attitude and demeanor of the staff have been consistently unsatisfactory. I have encountered a lack of courtesy, empathy, and willingness to assist customers. The overall impression is one of indifference and disinterest in providing quality customer service. It is disconcerting to observe such a decline in service standards at a reputable pharmacy chain like CVS. As a loyal customer, I believe that prompt and courteous service is fundamental to the success of any business, and regrettably, this has not been my experience at the mentioned location.I kindly request that you address these concerns promptly and implement measures to improve customer service at the specified CVS Pharmacy. I believe that such improvements will not only benefit individual customers like myself but will also contribute to the overall success and positive reputation of your establishment.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to seeing positive changes in the future.Sincerely,Josephine Paprota

I received an automated text from CVS that my prescription H was ready. I have two prescriptions that begin with H, so I called. After taking care of the one, "H" prescription, I asked to look at the second "H" that I have in the system.I was told that I was cutting into his lunch hour. "Ma'am, you are cutting into my lunch hour." I tried to say, "but can we handle the other prescription?" I was told, rudely, "Ma'am, you are cutting into my lunch hour". He then hung up on me. This was at 1:31pm at the Royce Circle location, over the telephone.

(The following event took place on 1/30/23 at about 10:30 in the morning). The manager of this store can't think for himself and do the right thing. I purchased a home covid test for forty dollars and then drove five miles to another store to pick up a prescription. A few minutes after buying the CVS test, I was able to get four free kits from Medicare at the second pharmacy. I immediately drove the five miles back to the CVS and explained why I would like a refund for the test kit I had just purchased. The woman at the register was in agreement, but wanted to get input from her supervisor who listened to my story and agreed a refund was the right thing to do. Before refunding my forty dollars, he called for the store manager to finalize the refund. The problem was - some dishonest people buy the test kit and then have insurance reimburse them and then return the kit for a refund. The store manager did not take into account that a seventy-seven year old retired school teacher living on an adequate pension would not try to cheat the system out of forty dollars. My point is, good managers know when an exception to a rule is the right thing to do verses managers that follow the rules blindly with no thought to the Golden Rule - treat people as you want to be treated. The manager knew I wasn't trying to scam the company - he said so himself - yet he was unable to act as a reasonable, thinking individual and do what he would want if his father was in my situation. I don't appreciate wasting forty dollars and being at the effect of an uncaring and robot like individual - and the store manager was just that, uncaring and unable to summon the courage to do the right thing.

By far the most friendly CVS employees I've ever encountered. The store is well stocked. I look forward to my next trip

Typical CVS pharmacy. The pharmacists have all been helpful, quick, and easy to understand so far. Only issues I've ever had were related to problems with the CVS website.
