I do recommend this place for adoption. First off the staff here are all extremely caring and dedicated to these animals. They see a lot of situations that most couldn't handle to save these dogs. Thank You. I adopted my pup October 19, 2024. Trust the process it is all worth it in the end to have a fur baby. Thank You for all of the rescues you have done.

If i could give more stars i absolutely would. Erin & her team are rockstars. We have adopted a dog, a puppy, and have fostered through them and every single moment has been amazing. They truly care about their animals. They rescue them from horrible conditions and put them into loving homes. They vet check and take great care of them. The amount of work and dedication this team of people put into their rescue and animals is admirable. We will be forever grateful to them. Because of their rescue we have completed our family and my kids have the best 2 pups a family could ever ask for.

Look at the lowest star review and tell me their responses don't seem like they are overly defensive. This place sells puppy mill dogs. One side of the place just sells the dogs that didn't come out "perfect." The dogs are also sick. The dog our family got was so sick that we had to spend thousands within the first week of having her. They offered to take her back, but I wouldn't dare send her back there. The smell is putrid and eye watering. I could smell this place on my clothes even after I left. They also seem to get all the dogs from out of state while there are so many in need in ct. They can respond whatever they want to this review, but don't say you weren't warned! Go to an animal control shelter and get a dog in real need.

Though it looks like they’ve had many happy adoptions, I feel obligated to share my daughter’s experience so others are aware and can prepare for the worst if they choose to adopt here. The puppy she brought home seemed fine for the first 2 days, but on day 3 started to show signs of being ill - coughing, choking. The volunteer did say she may come down with kennel cough that should clear up on its own, but she started to go downhill very quickly. We brought her to the walk-in clinic where they did testing and xrays. My daughter immediately contacted the rescue to let them know. The pneumonia was so severe, we were encouraged by the walk in vet to rush her to the hospital where she was immediately placed into ICU. Seven hours later (I respect people cannot be glued to their phone but we needed to make a decision in the meantime) they responded to my daughter saying the only thing they could offer was to surrender the dog to them and their vet would take care of the medical cost and give the dog back, but that they would not contribute to her current care or refund any amount. At this point, we had spent over $1,000 at the walk in and expected to have very high bills from the hospital as well. Unfortunately, her condition was too bad to take her off the IVs and oxygen and was not in the best interest of the puppy to change doctors in the middle of treatment. Three days in the hospital and an another $6000 later, she came home still facing complications and has a long road ahead for recovery. Yes, the contract, as the agency refers back to on other complaints, was signed and we assumed this was common, but after speaking with many people in the industry, including various people in the veterinary field in CT, it seems like this place specifically has a reputation for puppies with respiratory issues. When you adopt a pet, there is a reasonable expectation that they don’t have a life threatening illness that will cost thousands of dollars and potentially cause serious health issues. I recommend caution when considering this agency until they incorporate a better way of caring for sick puppies.

Great people! Big thank you to SADR for my little naughty pup. People working there and saving all those dogs are real heroes. I got my pup almost a year ago, and we did have some hurdles (like kennel cough, pink eye, peeing inside the house) during the first few months but this is what everyone has to be prepared for when they take a dog. My lil girl is 11 months now and she’s the most adorable, extremely smart and still very naughty and curious pup. I’m forever in love

Amazing!
I adopted our dog Ronin in July of 2022. He was saved from a high kill shelter down south. Ronin is the best boy and I could not imagine our family without him. This past March, we decided Ronin needed a friend and adopted Remy. Remy is the perfect addition. He is spunky and fun and we adore him.
Both adoption processes were smooth and super positive. Every one who works here is so friendly. We made a few visits to check out certain dogs but because we have cats at home we were not able to adopt the first couple we had been interested in. I sincerely appreciated the honesty of the workers and I’m so glad they were looking out for the safety of all of our pets. They really worked with us to find the best fit for our family. They even provide any known medical history records and and voucher for a discounted neuter once our puppy is old enough.
We really appreciate how hard everyone at this rescue works to find homes and care for these dogs. They really give these dogs a chance at life that they may not have had otherwise. Thank you to Save All Dogs for the amazing work that you do and thank you for our very loved boys!

We had the best experience at Save All Dogs with my mother and a few months later, after putting our family dog of 12 years down, we knew we'd return here to rescue our next one! The adoption process is easy and these ladies do the best job homing as many animals as possible. Adoption fee is more than reasonable We rescued what turned out to be a 100% golden retriever and couldn't have been happier with her health. What a bargain! What a huge success. Their transparency and love for animals is incredible. Thank you for Piper (previously Barbie)❤️. We tell everyone we know about SAD.

Although I haven’t had the opportunity to adopt a dog yet (timing hasn’t been right yet), I have visited Save All Dogs and followed along their Facebook for multiple years. The dedication that the staff has for saving dogs and finding them the right home is so evident. I know that when it is the right time for me to adopt a dog that Save All Dogs will be the place I look to!

My husband and myself adopted our girl a year and a half ago the staff was so friendly and so accommodating. So good with the dogs and also so friendly with the adopters who come to meet the dogs. I would adopt from sage all dogs rescue again. We are looking to possibly get harlequin a sister or brother.

I had the best experience adopting my Golden puppy Mysti from Save All Dogs. The staff is professional & knowledgeable. The animals get the medical care they need prior to adoption. Running my own rescue I greatly appreciate the work they do for the animals in need.

Almost 2 1/2 years ago I adopted Rosie (Mako) from SADR. She was difficult to socialize with the dog that I had at the time and with myself. It took 5 weeks of work with her to accomplish that. One of the girls that worked there went so far as to take her home and worked with her.
About 2 years later I again visited SADR and adopted Buddha, a 3 1/2 months old Tibetan Mastiff. All I can say is that Save All Dogs Rescue really cares for the animals that they adopt out. Thanks for all work you folks do.

We adopted Belle from SADR on June 27th, and she has been a true joy. From a scared, shy dog who cowered when we first met her, she has become the life of the household. I had filled out the adoption form online, once I knew which dog I wanted. Yes we had to wait in line for quite a while anyway, to give others ahead of us a chance to meet pets they might be interested in. We got to talk to some friendly folks in the meantime who were there for the same reason, wishing each other good luck with our choices. This is not a commodity you're buying, but a living being who will become a family member. Everyone needs to be absolutely sure. I am partially disabled, so I brought my rollator which gave me a chance to sit down outdoors. We were treated with great respect and the process was fairly simple. Most of our time inside was spent with Belle—I was even given a chair so I could sit down comfortably since the rollator was kind of large for the meeting area. The fact that most of the employees came over to check on us while we were there (my younger son was with me) says a lot about how much they care greatly about both the animals and the people who take them home. We had enough time to give shy and scared Belle a chance to come out of her shell and sit by me, licking my arm and giving me a big doggie smile. This dog was hard to get adopted because of her reticence, but we all felt comfortable that she was the right dog for the right family. We got cheered on the way out. Thank you so much for saving our precious Belle, and thanks especially to Arianna who did whatever she could to draw Belle out of her shell. The video of her on the Facebook site playing with you made me hopeful that a happy dog was still in there somewhere. Oh yes, she is all that and more! My entire family loves her very much and are glad we adopted her.
