PetSmart
1520 Pleasant Valley Rd, ManchesterJust wanted to say thank you so much to our groomer Jazmyne. She was wonderful with our (over 100 pounds) dog Kubota. He had a lot of long matted hair that she was able to smooth out for him. He's 11 years old so we were worried about how he would deal with this. Jazmyne took her time with him and made him look like the handsome senior dog he is. This girl is a great asset to your store. We will be forever grateful and will always bring our fur babies here from now on. Thanks again

Cuts Fur Pups
79 Chambers St, ManchesterAmanda loves all and every dog that she grooms, and they come home looking beautiful, but most importantly, happy. My dogs LOVE going to see Amanda for their spa day. Just look at the pictures of some of the dogs she grooms, and you can see a happy stressfree and gorgeous pup. I've been to other groomers before Cuts Fur Pups was established, and nothing can compare to the individualized and personal touch Amanda gives every dog.

Pet Care
Manchester Veterinary Clinic: Soutter Alexis DVM
156 Spencer St, ManchesterDr. Sutter and Manchester Vet Clinic were our Zuchon dog Molly's vet for 15 years. We lost her in April. They have always provided wonderful care. She developed pancreatitis when she was 2 - 3 because we fed her wrong. After she stabilized, they worked with me to find recipes for nearly fat free meals that met her nutritional needs and kept her well. We credit her longevity to those meals with all natural food and their care of her. After Molly passed naturally, they made a donation in her name to a charity that supports getting better food to dogs.....perfect! They sent a lovely handwritten card too. We will eventually get another dog and of course, they will be her vets! Carol Rady, Bolton, CT

Banfield Pet Hospital
1520 Pleasant Valley Rd, ManchesterIf just rating the staff, this would be a 5-star review. They work hard and really care. The only negative is that this Banfield location in Manchester is severely understaffed (like many places). So, getting through on the phone, securing appointments- the availability of appointments- is not as good as I’d hope but it’s also not their fault…hopefully they can fill out the staff sooner than later.
One downside is if your pet needs certain imaging, it can’t be done at this location.
On the other hand, there are locations all across the country - we started with one in S.C. before relocating North. This came in handy a couple years ago when we were traveling and one of dogs got a nasty eye infection. We were able to get an appointment at a nearby Banfield and he soon recovered, saving our trip!
Last thing: the wellness plans are good and there’s a lot about them I like, but they are expensive if you have more than one pet.
The plans are NOT administered by Banfield so of course it shouldn’t be held accountable for the rates.

Urban Lodge Brewing Co.
47 Purnell Pl, ManchesterWe stopped in here after dinner to see my friend's band play. I wasn't there for long and didn't try out the "self service" portion, not really sure how that all works. The outdoor patio and dining areas were really nice, but the cool windy weather didn't give us an opportunity to try it out. I bet this would be a fun destination if the weather was cooperative.

Elicit Brewing Co - Manchester
165 Adams St, ManchesterHad such an amazing time and loved the band Sunset Drive. Danced with people I don't even know and sang at the top of my lungs so fun. They played excellent music, songs we all know and love. The whole crowd had a blast and really added to the fun atmosphere. Highly recommend Elicit and the band Sunset Drive.
