My 4th grader has been going to MELC for all in person schooling since kindergarten. I use auto pay. There was a problem with my debit card and they told me after 3 months of payment was missed. They sent the notice home with the babysitter, not a parent, giving one week to pay or lose care. I went in the following school day and told them I could pay for one month by Friday and the rest by the next due date. They said it was unacceptable and they do it this way to all overdue parents, I would lose childcare the rest of the month if I didn't pay up in the next week. I asked to speak to Jennifer Wagner, the director and she would not allow me to receive childcare I'd I paid for 1 month on the spot and everything due by the next due date and keep my child in care. Don't use MELC. They are unreasonable and unprofessional every time I come in person or call, ever since Ben Carlson stopped managing things of this nature. They tell my daughter she can't have at home snacks even on days the supplied snack has something with her food allergies.

Great program, they offer meals, home work help and out door play. They have many activities like games and crafts, stem and running club. They are expensive but offer scholarships and flexible payment arrangements. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. The children go from 7:30-9am and 3:30-4:30pm - so 3 hrs. A day for 2 kids 2 or 3 days a week and I'm paying $800+. The program itself is great, and the payment plans and scholarships (although I've never gotten one) help but still very expensive.
