Screw this company I pay for the max my bill went from 150 to 185. The Wi-Fi cuts out every day trash customer service you pay to much for what you get also, I live in the area where this is all I hate cox you guys are just bad terrible company and no one’s gonna do anything about it because it’s too big of a company and this is just a review but please don’t get Cox. I hope they go bankrupt and the billionaire that owns the company really couldn’t care less if he died. They charged us so much money for the worst Wi-Fi ever like I’m not even joking you please do not get Cox I would put zero stars but I can’t.

This is a convenient location on Deming St within the center of the Plaza.My only complaint is that they don't open up until 10 a.m. If you are an early riser, like myself, you'll find this a tad annoying. There was a line waiting at the door before the store opened. ?Returning equipment is on the righthand side of the store, near the entry. Payment of accounts is located on the left. It was nice that they were able to transfer information between stations but was a bit surprised that the customer had to move from station to station. If there is a line - you get to wait again - just be prepared mentally for it.Check out for me went fairly smoothly, and since I was closing my account, they were able to recalculate my bill on the spot so I could close it out that day rather than wait for a bill.

Employees are not empowered to solve issues. We have the top tier modem and internet service for our home. It is poor at best, and we rely on this service to work from home. With little to no competition they have no reason to improve the situation. It does seem at times that our demand for internet is being choked back somehow. Late at night and periods during the day routinely have little service, with no ability to reach the internet or stream television. I had service to two homes at one time and it was equally poor in both places, yet I paid hundreds in fees. Even billing is screwed up....try logging in to your second location and find it completely inaccessible. The only way to sort it was to go into the Cox store, which ALSO routinely can't access their own system computers. The poor employees know the situation...can't even look you in the eye. When you do a modem test the Cox app completely misrepresents the actual modem service... when our service is completely offline according to all our devices, it shows as offering maximum service, beyond what is guaranteed by our contract. The joke is on us. We lose every time, every single day. Can't wait to move. Oh yeah, and I paid for devices to improve our network. They are offline most of the time. Don't bother with the expensive pods.

Horrible customer service. Service in general is awful. I went there to renew my account because promotions had ended basically they told me I will have to pay more money for the same service and to call a phone number to get help instead of help me in the store. Can't wait to get another cable and internet provider

Older lady customer rep with glasses was super condescending and unprofessional. Very unsympathetic and does not care to serve you. Not sure how one can work in customer rep when you don’t have basic manners. Gave a slip for me to call Cox when they weren’t even open. Go to the one in Meriden and the reps there will get you in and out in less than 10mins. Oh and they don’t just hand you the number to call Cox, they actually help.

I've been with Cox for over 10 years. I should have switched providers a long time ago.. Cox provides the most unreliable & sporadic services. It really is appalling how often I get temporarily disconnected from the internet. They do system restores and updates randomly throughout the month. That they will only describe to you as an "Outage". It tends to usually happen around 1:00am - 4:00 am. You also need to call them when this outage occurs. As they will still charge you for the downtime, unless you catch it. I've lost alot of money via gaming tournaments, work & business due to being kicked offline at the most inconvenient of times. It happens so often it finally led me to create this review. I highly suggest you shop elsewhere for your internet services.

Cox is the worst ISP know to mankind. Absolute disgrace of a company. I really hope they go under, and are replaced by a much more competent provider!!
