My insurance plan covers all lab work done here by contract. Staff is collecting credit card info to cover what insurance doesn't cover. This is called balance billing, and it's illegal in CT. Customers should be aware of this, and Quest should honor the contract it signed.

The blood work I had done for my pregnancy was processed through Clinical Laboratory Partners, LLC. First, I had trouble getting an itemized bill from them. It just said I had blood work done, but it did not list the tests performed. It was a fight just to get the itemized bill. They tried to collect payment from me when my insurance had sent them full payment months prior. I sent them proof of this from my insurance company. I even had a conference call with their billing department and a representative from my insurance company. I thought I had resolved the issue, but they then sent it to a debt collector. All this over a bill my insurance already paid! I'm pretty sure that billing a patient and their insurance company for the full amount of the same service is ILLEGAL. It's been a nightmare to deal with these people. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. If you can, go elsewhere for blood work!

This is the second time I have been here to have blood drawn. The waiting room is pristine and set up in a way where, though small, people are not piled atop one another. The phlebotomist on duty both times I visited was an absolute gem! She's kind, gregarious, and efficient. She's the type of person you wish you could just adopt into your family immediately, even after the needle part (which she's great at!). My only complaint is the wait time, as she seems to always be the only person there. She does her absolute best to get people in and out while still maintaining an excellent standard of care, but the wait would be significantly less if there were two staff members working. Totally not her fault. Overall, I highly recommend this location, as both of my experiences have been wonderful!

My husband had routine blood work drawn here and his arm ended up being horribly bruised. Please note the pictures posted above. My husband is by no means fragile. He is young and healthy with veins that resemble hoses. Speaking from a nursing perspective, it takes skill, or at least blatant disregard of standard venipuncture policy, to create a hematoma that spans a good majority of an arm. Normally, I'm incredibly sympathetic and understanding towards health care workers when glitches occur because it's human nature to make mistakes or meet obstacles such as attempting blood draws on someone who is a hard stick. However, my husband stated that the phlebotomist never explained what she was doing and literally just jabbed him abruptly without any warning. This behavior is completely unacceptable and is highly indicative of a lack of human compassion. If the phlebotomist had taken her time and followed standard procedure (which does not include coming at someone with a needle at a near 90 degree angle without warning), perhaps my husband's vein wouldn't have been blown, creating a large bruise and discomfort.

I will NEVER go back, but I am calling the employee about the condition of my arm. (see 2 photos?) that is my arm after leaving this place. She really jammed it in hard too.....I never had it hurt like that before. Does anyone have a work ethic? My insurance should not pay for this and,, I may need to see my primary doctor, because of a rash that is forming around the bruise, and it is itchy!

RUDE!! I recently had a discrepancy with my doctor's office with a bill I was sent and they had me call the lab just to get more information before I called them back. The woman who answered the phone was VERY rude. She was short with me and her tone from the initiation of the call made it obvious that she does not want to work there. At one point in the conversation she told me not to "tell her how to do her job" when all I was doing was trying to get information to bring back to my doctor. I recommend any physicians to stay away from CLP as they have absolutely no customer service. The woman who preformed my services was great, but the woman who answered my telephone call was horrid and that experience is enough for me to write a review.
