Stopped in for the first time at this location. The gas station set up is terrible! Inside, it's set up way different than other stores, and it took some time to figure out where everything was.

My usual BJs store for weekend groceries shopping. They also have BJs gas next to it. It’s a decent place with fresh food and other supplies.

I shop here because they sell things I can't get at Costco. I have not been able to find things on my list at times and it has always been a struggle to find a staff who knows where anything is. They are frequently out of things I need and I will have to drive to another BJs to get it. For a long time the freezers were not cold enough and I had frozen food stuck together, brown kale, and several times skipped buying ice cream because it was so soft. The pumps at the gas station run so slowly that it's almost comical. There is frequently a line for gas. I do like how many coupons I get on the app and I love the lady at the door who always tells me to have a blessed day, she is so nice.

I want to give a big shout out to a few employees. Billy the cart guy is very friendly, talkative and has great customer service skills. Amy, Beverly, Lea and Kiki are all very friendly on the front end. Louis at the front door has told me a few times he would let Tiffany know about the pepsi machine being out of soda. The last time I was there it was still sold out and now it appears to be unplugged. I don't why an employee would tell a customer it would be fixed and still not fixed very poor customer service on his part. Also he has told me before I couldn't go outside with the motorized cart before but I have never seen him saybit to anyone else but me. I think upper management should recognize the following team members Billy, Amy, Beverly, Lea, Kiki, Angie, Zak, Maria and Oshi they are all really helpful and friendly team members. Also you know you will have clean bathrooms when Maria is working. She is also very friendly and talkative to the customers.

Your typical Bjs. Seems larger than the one in Hartford.

I find it jarring that as I go to make this review all I see is a bunch of people talking about how mismanaged and slow the deli is. Guess what I did today after working in the deli for 2 weeks? Tell them how slow and mismanaged that the deli was. I was made to feel like I was the problem and I quit. Literally spoke to everybody from the head manager down and all they cared about where there little egos got hurt. They didn't care about actually taking care of the problem especially in a place like deli where you could literally get people sick. If anybody is wondering what happened to the other twin that's why I'm not there anymore.

Something to be aware of...you can buy a propane tank when store opens at 8 but you can't get it until the tire shop opens at 9. Otherwise not a bad store

BJ's has a long line for gas because the design of the gas station is not ideal. The return line is also lengthy and requires a receipt. Gas prices are very low, so the long lines are worth it. BJ's has grass-fed beef that Costco does not, but Costco is managed better as a wholesale store and gives a overall better experience.

The deli is the worst deli I've ever been too. They are very slow and rude. They don't care about the customers. I waited an hour to get some turkey and cheese!

For people that like to juice celery... I bought 4- 1lb bags of Bjs organic celery $3 a bag. Two or 2lbs bags yields only 12oz of juice! There are a lot of yellow leaves that I had to throw away to keep the juice from tasting extremely bitter. Even so the juice was still very bitter. At COSCO I buy 1 -2lb bag for under $6 and it yields 32 oz of juice and it is delicious. There really is no excuse for such a low standard grade of organic celery. People pay more for organic for its quality... and BJs celery is gross!

Clean bathrooms. Lines moved quickly. Store employees are helpful, willing to interrupt stocking and direct you to "hard-to-find" items.

Curbside pickup is so easy but if you go inside to shop yourself be sure to use scan and go because you don't even have to go through a checkout line. Just scan your items with your phone and pay straight in the app then head to the exit. So simple.

I typically only go to BJ's to get gas. You won't find a better price for gas than at BJ's. It was $2.95 yesterday, but it probably won't stay that way for long. Lines can be very long for gas. The hose is also long so, it doesn't matter which side the gas door is on your car, it will reach it.As far as the store itself goes, most items are in bulk and I don't need almost anything in bulk. I'll usually get milk, some fruit, not a lot. The wait at the deli is so slow, very slow. It makes me want to give up on everything in my cart.BJ's is a club. You must be a member to shop here. It is $25.00 if it's your first time joining the membership, or $55.00 if it's beyond that.If you have a need for bulk items for your family, it might be worth your time shopping here.
