RUDE, MEAN STAFF! This CVS is the absolute WORST by far. I cannot tell you how many times they have hung up on me before I could even state which prescription I needed refilled, they are always annoyed with customers, VERY slow even with a lot of staff, and are snotty. DO. NOT. GO. TO. THIS. CVS! This Madison CVS is unhelpful.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Horrible .... My dog is dying of lung cancer and has labored breathing. My vet prescribed something to keep him comfortable until the time comes. First thing in the am I dropped off the script and asked them to call me when ready..... by 3pm no call. So I called them. That's when they told me there was a problem with the script!!!!! Now on a Saturday after my vet closes at noon, you tell me there is an issue????? Thank God i have my vets personal cell hone number. Otherwise I would could have watched my boy suffer until he passed...HOW SICK IS THAT? I finally got a hold of my vet who quickly fixed the issue .... since she understands the sense of urgency!!! 3 hrs later STILL NO CALL telling me the meds were ready. So again I called them ... yup you are all set. I then spoke with e pharmacist , who couldn't care less how angry I was... zero compassion, zero concern, zero sincere apology. THANK GOD I don't live in Madison. If I did that pharmacist would be out of a job after reading all the complaints. I will be calling corporate Monday.

I've never gone to this CVS pharmacy without encountering a problem. The staff has absolutely no sense of urgency and no concept of quality customer service...or even basic rules of courtesy and kindness. I've worked in customer service previously - in many different settings - for many years - and I wouldn't dare treat customers the way I've been treated here. You do not leave a customer on hold for 10 minutes only to pick up the phone with an unapologetic voice, snappy responses, and a rude undertone. You do not forget to give customers all the medication they intended to pick up and fail to take the blame for it with no sense of remorse. You do not get locked out of your OWN MEDICINE SAFE and then act frustrated and agitated toward the customer who lives over an hour away and has already been waiting 30+ minutes longer than she should have. Avoid at all costs. Seriously. It's well worth the drive to any other pharmacy.

PHARMACY CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! If a mistake is made on your prescription, the customer is completely liable once you have paid for it. CVS just cost me $663 because they will not accept a medication return under ANY circumstances. My doctor mistakenly ordered 3 months of Lyrica at a higher dose than I take. I noticed as soon as I got home; and called CVS. They said sorry but.... I will be taking my business elsewhere. If that is their policy, they should read each prescription and dose to the customer at the cash register. In my experience, they never mention the dose at checkout; and they should. But guessing they don't care because they put all of the liability on the customer. Profit driven. I will be taking my substantial medication business else where.
