Payed 13.37 for a mediocre sandwich not a grinder just meat and cheese on bread. Wasn't asked if I want lettuce or tomato or anything. How dose there whole cheese pizza cost less then a simple sandwich. I understand food prices are high but that is absolutely ridiculous. It's a cute store but not worth it.

I was at the post office next door and the smell from outside was intoxicating so had to go in. Friendly service and delicious food. My husband and I got the crossroads panini, the riverboat white pizza and a build your own deli sandwich. Best pizza ever! Everything was delicious I didn’t even have time to take pictures before we gobbled it all up :D

After visiting Gillette Castle, my friend and I needed a nice lunch. We remember driving passed this on our way to the castle, so we decided to check it out on your way back. It was honestly truly wonderful. I had the Reuben and I'm still thinking about how good it was. I love a good sandwich once in a while, and this satisfied my every taste buds. This place has everything:Super cute area to eat outside, wonderful staff and delicious food.

You shut down your bathrooms for no reason and yelled at an 87 year old man berating him because he didn't know. In front of customers. The woman yelling at him was an older woman with a horrible attitude. Not appreciated. Will never go back there

I usually don’t go out of my way to make a negative post but today really pissed me off. Took my 87 year old father to lunch at the hadlyme country store with my girlfriend which we go to often. When we walked in my father needed a rest room and on this day they posted no restrooms. I told my father their might be a Porta John around the side. Well my father walked around back and another local outside told him the bathrooms were around back. My father walked through the back door not thinking he was doing anything wrong and used the restroom of the market. When he came out the owner who is older herself berated my father and told him to get out. I interrupted her and explained to her that he is 87 years old and he had used the bathrooms before in the past. He didn’t think he was doing anything wrong. She continued with her belligerence in front of others in the store and I told her to forget our order and I would let others know how rude and unwelcoming her market has become.  So everyone has their opinions but when it comes to the elderly let’s cut them some slack. I really hope it never happens to the women when she desperately needs a restroom. #badbusiness #notgoingagain.
