Without checking first, the surly Gales Ferry postal worker sent me on my way to Ledyard to pick up mail that had been held. I just moved here and asked where it was and she advised me to "use GPS."Got there - they don't even have it.Seriously, this is the best you can do to help out a newcomer?Ledyard office was very nice.

The mailman refuses to deliver our packages claiming my driveway is “dangerous” but it’s not so we never can get packages delivered. When I went to the post office to pick up my package they said I needed an ID, my sister ran in before and didn’t need an ID. But Melissa, the worker, said I could have just stolen it from someone’s mailbox and I needed an ID, going to the post office I did not think I would need this because we never had needed an ID picking up our packages. I did not have my ID and now I was not allowed to get my package for days.

Our carrier refuses to deliver if our beagle happens to be outside in the morning, noon, or afternoon (because delivery time varies). So basically, they are saying we can't let our dog out with the invisible fence unless it's in the evening because the woman (not sure of her name, she has long grey hair and sunglasses) will not deliver again if our dog is out. She was also very rude and aggressive and could have at least been polite rather than yelling and then aggressively running to our door once we let our dog in to ring the doorbell multiple times repeatedly then yelled at me and woke up our 2 year old. Our dog always comes in, in less than 10 seconds once I call him and it's only happened TWICE in over 2 YEARS that he happened to be outside when she delivered.
