Went to GridLife Northeast at Lime Rock Park second time in the last two year and had a great experience.Live 90 minutes from the track so we did not camp at the festival, just commuted.I'd recommend going for the day if you get the opportunity. The drifting stole the show, it was exciting and felt new every time the cars got on the track. A nice bonus is the open pits. You can walk around and see everyones cars, from the beginner track cars all the way to the formula one drift cars.I feel like most motorsport fans would enjoy attending GridLife.

A fantastic and historic venue that's also new and improved thanks to FCP Euro's involvement. Surrounded by a beautiful forest setting, Lime Rock Park is perfect for both track days and car events like the one I attended today. Only drawback is zero mobile phone reception both at the park and for miles around. Make sure you have directions to and from printed or written out.

It’s a beautiful drive to get there and a beautiful track to enjoy some racing!! Plenty of different vantage points to view the on track action. Loved being able to take a stroll down pit road and check out the cars up close. Make sure you have a good pair of shoes if you want to see the whole track, it’s a decent amount of walking. Looking forward to heading back for another race.

Lime rock park has been a staple in our family for automotive racing since the early 70s. My dad and I would go and enjoy racing on Memorial Day. Things have changed that I can remember even from the 80s, I remember there being so many blankets on the ground, where it was like walking around at the beach, where you were trying to not step on peoples blankets and trying to get around everything. The garbage cans were always full and overflowing with so much trash and beer bottles. I could not imagine how much the bottles were worth for recyclables. There was almost always about a 10 to 12 foot distance from the fence were photographers and people walking around the track made their way around. I remember people putting tarps up against the fence, having hibachi‘s and cooking pretty much inside the infield areas as a norm. Back then tickets were available at a lot of local places, stores, package stores, car dealerships, just ones that I remember. At 54 years of age now, I see a lot of people missing going to the tracks, lime rock is a beautiful venue that has updated it many ways, as a car collector and member of Hagerty there are benefits to those memberships. Ticket prices for events are around $80 a person, I would suspect these are very big increases nearing NASCAR ticket prices. We were going to attend the car show Sunday for the fall historic vintage festival, but the staff there mention it’s $40 a car and if you have a passenger it’s another $40. At $80 for two people we can simply not attend, what’s going on here. It’s unfortunate as last year this was free, one can only wonder what the turnout will be. One thing noteworthy of missing is the billboard that highlights the remaining laps and track positions, that appears to have been removed. I would hope that the owners of lime rock park have plans to put that back, yesterday we had a hard time following how many laps are left in for the positions of the cars. Basically, every track that we’ve attended all seem to have a board that highlights positions and labs. Lime rock Park has and will remain to be a go to for auto racing events for us, we would just like to see pricing more in line with events there. I would suspect lower pricing would get more people to attend. A $9 can of beer, expensive food and for travelers coming from out of state factor in gas, a $32 T-shirt and you have a pretty expensive day. For people in certain industries you know what it costs to make stuff. Having pricing more inline with for generating sales, goes a long way. I can’t remember the last time in public I saw a LRP shirt or anything. I wish they focus on marketing to get the name out there. Trust me, I like not having tons of people around me, but I would like to see this park exist not snd generations to come. This weekend we had a chance to see cars I could not have imagined to see on the track, old Ferraris, old Porsche, such iconic cars right here in Connecticut, at Lime Rock Park. There was a person at the pit gate that mentioned, if your jaw doesn’t drop your not much of a car enthusiasts, man I couldn’t agree more. The cars there yesterday were absolutely stunning, and ti see snd hear them run in the track one at a time to hear the iconic engine tones, was simply stunning. To hear 60’s Lemans type cars running on the track was absolutely stunning, thank you LRP and car owners for sharing these incredible memories with us, the spectators and car guys and ladies.PS, bring back the dvd video even in its old state for $20, people would enjoy it. An employee can make copies with current disk duplicators to keep it low budget and keep fans happy. Pics attached of what I have.

Let me start by saying that my family has been returning to Lime Rock Park each year for generations, over 40 years. It's practically in our blood. We love it.Unfortunately it's becoming less and less likable and feasible for us for a number of reasons. Tickets for events and camping have increased, facilities are basically the same they were 30 years ago, still no hookups available for campers and not to mention the whole situation with campsites in general. Back in the day, sites used to be first come first serve. Times change and now it's reserved online. The problem is they keep reconfiguring the campsites, making them smaller each year in order to add more sites and continue to increase the price all the while. This last July when we stayed there for the Northeast Grand Prix, part of our campsite ended up being on the asphalt because they measured incorrectly (you don't have a choice but to accept the situation for what it is in as they mark it out with pink paint spray paint). Not ideal for our baby to be crawling around on. During events the one shower trailer available is basically a joke and you'll be waiting a long time, especially if you're a man. For the amount of money this place makes they seem to really cheap out on campers who are spending good money to stay there, while investing more and more in things for people who, let's face it, have a certain amount of wealth. One last disappointment is the races. When they updated the track a few years ago many of the super cars stopped coming. Now after a record turnout of spectators at the last July races, they announced that next year in 2024 IMSA will be skipping over LRP completely.

Great race track. There are 2 free areas to park on grassy hills and additional paid/VIP parking with-in the track area, especially for campers. NO FILTERED PUBLIC WATER STATIONS, but the upper restroom facility does have an outside deep wash basin sink. Some public areas have a moderate amount of tree shade and some have almost none.

First time at the park... Can't believe I waited this long! What a cool track tucked into the hills... I've been a Watkins Glen visitor for years but this is half as far and just as enjoyable. Went for the FCP grand prix... great weekend!!

I've been wanting to add this track to my "Ben to" tracks for a while. Fan viewing areas are some of the best I've seen. However, in many ways, it's still kinda primitive. There is no way to know what's happening on many areas of the track due to no speakers or timing and scoring pylons. Finding a garbage can was problematic, and the "shuttles" needed vast improvements to and from the parking lot. None that I found picked you up at the parking lot or close to it. You had to walk to the track to get a shuttle. All that said, we had a great time. The place is neat and tidy, the staff and spectators courteous and knowledgeable. I got tired of "Thank you for your service," but they take good care of veterans, including free admission. That's 90 bucks! The facility needs some work but is highly recommended.

Lime Rock is considered my home track as a racer and a spectator. I visit this place three to four times a year. They have recently improved the facility, with the upgrades to the various buildings and the new "Proving Grounds" autocross course and skidpad. The partnership with FCP Euro has really helped the track reach a broader audience. The food stand always has the food you want on a hot day and everyone is always kind as well which goes a long way. Looking forward to returning in 2023.

What a great day. I am not a car enthusiast but it doesn't matter, I had a great time. Cars are so cool! Just a great time seeing all the races and gorgeous cars. If you have kids (small, big) remotely interested in cars, bring them! They will go bonkers.

Went to the historic festival. Tickets were pretty expensive 75 for saturday 40 for sunday 75 for monday per person or 175 for thursday thru monday. But besides price it was great as normal. Would of been better if they kept prices at 140 for weekend pass which is reasonable. But prices went up week of event.

Great place to watch races from either hill and your own chair. Food is available as well as beer.
