“I've been here at least 4x for triage type visits for my older pup. Basically as a bridge with antibiotics/pain meds until we can see our regular vet. I've never been treated with anything but kindness, respect and courtesy. Only one time was there a short wait and they sensitive, helpful and intuitive. All of the staff are top notch from the sweet receptionist, vet techs and Drs. For reference it ends up being slightly more expensive than a regular vet visit but definitely less than an emergency vet. The convience and peace of mind that comes from this location is something I'm so grateful for.”
“My Siberian husky strained her back on New Year's Eve. She was in so much pain she could barely walk. Dr. Torlone relaxed her with the laser therapy and followed it with accupuncture. One week later she was back to her normal behavior and happy to be moving without pain. The treatment helped her to heal quickly and completely. She received excellent care here, we highly recommend it!”
“Highly recommend Guilford AMC! We recently moved to Hawaii and due to Hawaii's strict rabies guidelines, it was an intense process getting our 2 fur babies over. Our cat Max was fairly easy to get over but our puppy Nathan had some struggles with his titer tests. He was not passing the required blood test to be allowed into Hawaii. Dr. Janicki and his amazing staff helped us every step of the way. We believe they went above and beyond their duties to help us. They were in contact with the lab trying to help us do everything we could to get Nathan to pass his test. We were in constant contact with everyone at Guilford AMC about the best steps we could take and what our options were. We felt that everyone worked extra hard to help us and without GAMC, this struggle would have been so much harder to deal with. We finally got Nathan to pass and he and his brother max have settled nicely. EVERYONE at GAMC is so friendly and passionate about the care your pets receive! We never felt rushed or pressured into anything. Everything from options of treatments to pricing was clearly explained and never felt pressured into doing anything we weren't comfortable doing. Everyone takes the time to explain everything clearly, they respond quickly to questions and treat all fur babies as if they were their own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GAMC and I give 5 stars to everyone here! We are sad to be so far away from GAMC but are glad we were able to experience the wonderful care they showed our fur babies!! Thank you to everyone at GAMC!!!!”

“Based on recommendations from shoreline residents, I moved my rescued Havanese ("Cha Cha") from a vet facility in Guildford to Shoreline Animal Hospital in Clinton. I am VERY glad that I did. Usually skittish, Cha Cha was eased through a surgical procedure, near her eye, with minimal anxiety & stellar results. The entire staff works with efficiency, precision, compassion, and the highest level of expertise. I feel very fortunate to have found this team! If you love your pet, this is the practice for you.”
“My Salem kitty was my heart. Things went wrong very fast and out of the blue. Having to take him anywhere to let him go seemed impossible. Dr. Chris and her staff were incredible. They saw my broken heart and treated my Salem and I with such tenderness and kindness. Salem mattered to them, too. I had Salem cremated and had a pawprint put in clay. Bonnie did Salem's print and did such a beautiful and lovely job. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for treating Salem with such a gentle hand and heart from the beginning to the very end when I came back to get his ashes. It all means more to this broken heart than you could ever know.”

“I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Kumar at Durham Vet since the early 2000's. The genuine care you receive from Dr. Kumar and his team is second to none. Although my drive is 30 minutes one way and I pass many other vet hospitals on my drive, I know I am getting the best care I can possibly receive, so it's definitely well worth the travel for me to get the best for my dogs.”

“We had to go there twice in one week for our little one. We thought the first experience was impressive. Between the doctor, the nurse Morgan and the receptionist Kayla, they were all wonderful and helpful and proactive. On our second night, we met Zach. We still wonder whether Zach was real or an angel sent to help us during a very stressful time. He was lovely, kind, helpful, calming, I can go on and on. Zach is a wonderful asset to this amazing hospital. Thank you Zach for being so wonderful to us and our little Dexter.”

Sadly, this past year I lost both of them but I’ll always appreciate the dedication and caring nature everyone demonstrated anytime I would come in. They were always great about fitting me in when I wasn’t sure what was going on and I always respected and trusted Dr. Meads opinion.
