Had the pleasure of shopping at The Rustic Barn in Killingworth on Saturday. The staff, along with Lisa, the owner, are welcoming and lovely. I loved the beautiful and realistic flowers I purchased along with a lovely hanging basket for my bathroom window.
My new pitcher filled with wild flowers is magnificent. My Cranberry Marmalade candle may be my favorite scent ever! Would not have wanted to be anywhere else on a beautiful Saturday morning especially to help one of our fallen heros!

The Rustic Barn team is composed of the most helpful and kind people. We are greeted with a smile, hug, and their talented eye for design each visit. At this point, the majority of my home is filled with Rustic Barn treasures paired with memories that last a lifetime.

This store is delightful. I absolutely love the candles. I’ve never burned a better candle! The scents are amazing and the candles have a very long burn time. The home decorations are beautiful and so unique. Be sure to take a trip at Christmas time and you will be amazed by the transformation of the store filled to the brim with the best decorations. The staff is friendly and so helpful. My favorite place to shop!

I discovered the Rustic Barn 4 years ago. It’s absolutely one of my favorite home decor stores. Lisa, “Boss”, “Mom” and everyone else are always willing to help. I also have several pieces from the Rustic Barn Furniture store. Steve is always willing to help you find a piece he made that is perfect for your space. When I moved to East Haddam from Westchester, NY I wasn't sure where I would find a place to buy home decor like I was had become used to in NYC. Then I found the Rustic Barn and was overjoyed to see a small shop with so many lovely things - from small items to large decor pieces - it met every single need!
Meeting Lisa, Boss, Mom and the rest of the Rustic Barn team has been a gift. They are helpful, patient, kind, energetic, and TALENTED. The will assist you with styling the smallest space in your home or a large room with the same passion and creativity. I look forward to every trip into the store and I am in awe of the beautiful items Steve has made which now call my house, home.
