What a learning and sensory experience at lavender pond. Tour guide was knowledgeable and the shop of all things lavender was beyond impressive. Can’t wait to visit again but be sure to check which days of the week they’re open

This farm is located between Clinton Connecticut and Higganum/Haddam Connecticut.
I live in Higganum and it took us maybe 15 minutes to get there.
This was my first visit here and I have had it saved in my phone for over a year now, for a visit and I'm glad I made it.
Although it is pretty much the end of the season and there were fields of lavender, the beautiful lavender color was not there - but again it's the end of the season and it did not take away from my visit today.
They have a very nice gift shop which I felt was fairly priced. I spent $60 And I am happy with the items that I purchased.
The young lady Briana And I hope I spelled her name right, was wonderful. She has a plethora of information on different lavender plants that are used for different reasons.
I liked that their plants were priced the same no matter what plant you bought, $16 for a smaller pot and $20 for a larger plant.
I will definitely be going back in the future, next season first thing in the morning when they open and the lavender is at full bloom.
They also have a train on wheels which drives you around the farm.
There were places to sit and because there were several people there I did not want to take too many pictures with people in them, but I definitely feel this is a place to check out.
They are open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and I noticed on their website which has a lot of good information, they have a 9:00 a.m. Saturday yoga class ?

I love this farm. It’s beautiful! The gift shop is something really special. I only use their dog shampoo on my pup.

Lots of lavender growing in season, they even have white! Occasional butterflies and a cute fairy walk with a covered bridge complete the area.

Lovely, relaxing, scenic place, great for a walk. Train ride is about a mile long and enjoyable. They are adding a meadow walk area. Nice to see they’re adding more elements.
