they do as they please with deliveries. i have once again been waiting for a package that is coming USPS and due to be delivered today and does not show, then go and check the tracking and have it say that the "customer requested the shipment to be held for collection". NEVER, have i ever, asked for this. and even if i wanted to i sure as heck could never get ahold of them to ask since they do not pick up the phone. drives me crazy, if i ran my business like the post office is runs theirs, i would be out of work like the post off should be.

Every time I've been in here the staff is helpful, patient, and understanding. It's just nice to be helped in a pleasant manner.

I go to this office often, usually about 4-5 days a week to mail out packages as I work in this town. I've been waited on by probably every single staff member by this point. They are always friendly & do a great job. They never seemed burdened by me coming in, even on days where I have 10+ packages to scan and send out. It's a great office & my favorite to use!

Beyond pissed that they left to giant expensive packages outside today in an awful storm I just got home and both packages are soaked and full of mud. Both boxes are falling apart and I'm actually nervous to even open them right now. I will do everything in my power to never use this post office ever again

I recently sent a package to my daughter. She had filled out paperwork to have her mail held due to her mailbox being knocked over by a snowplow. The request was said to be accepted, but the package was send out for delivery with the postal carrier then listed as undeliverable. Obviously people aren't doing their job properly and it is impossible to call them directly.

It is truly amazing that we can ever get our mail. This post office is by far the worse office I have ever felt with. We consistently have to track our mail down with the other businesses in our building. There is a constant knocking of doors with everyone handing each other there mail. The people in the building would be better off if the office just dropped our mail and we handed it out. Everyday we have to return letters to other businesses. There are business cards in the community mail box for each business with names and addresses and still they are wrong. Killingly commons is tired and fed up with this lack of caring. This isn't the fist time we have complained either. Truly sad!!!

Cold and unfriendly. Walk in and the lady acts like you are a bother to even be in the place. Forget about asking a question. I wonder why the post office would employ someone with such poor customer service skills in such a highly visible position.

I was very disappointed with the dayville office. I went in to open a P.O. box and was helped (If you could call it that) by a women behind the desk. As soon as I walked in I offered a smile, the women barley acknowledged me....no eye contact at all. I asked if I could please open up a P.O. box. She proceeded to huff as if my simple request was a burden. She brought the application over to me and let me know that I would need two forms of i.d. All the while still not making eye contact and going to stare back at the computer screen. I said thank you and that I would be back once I filled it out. Her response was “yup”, once I sat in my car I pretty much ripped up the application. I will be going to the Danielson post office as of now. I work in customer service and I understand bad days but this lady had zero personal or customer service skills.
