Dr. Durgin was amazing. Took the time to listen to me regarding my cat’s issues. And took the time to explain everything to me. They went above and beyond for our Moo Berry.

My vet retired and moved his patients here. So far so good

I have nothing but great things to say about Companions. My dog loves everyone there. The vets and the techs are patient and extremely knowledgeable.

I called to bring my sick dog in because she had been dry heaving/retching for over a week and can be a sign of a serious health concern. They said they needed to refer me to an emergency vet that they didn’t have any appointments for over a week. I have been bringing my dog there since a puppy and they couldn’t make time for a sick visit. They said “they are not an emergency clinic”. Clearly they only care about making money and not about animals. Won’t be back!

Kind. Helpful. Always feel like the vet explains things so well and makes sure we are comfortable and understand.

The vet here is great. However, Danielle is grossly inappropriateand has no empathy for your pet's health and welfare, none.

Waited a half hour at the counter as employees walked by never acknowledging me. Then when they finally did they were rude and very unhelpful! Honestly I can't see how it's possible that they're in business! They could careless about my animals well being. I will make sure everyone I know is very aware of how they work their practice!!

I have just recently started taking my senior dog Diddy to this practice. Our wait time for the 1st appointment was 45 minutes, I recommend coming in 5-10 minutes prior to your visit like we did today. The doctors are very nice and listen to your concerns, it is a bit pricey. Some staff are very nice and some..... well maybe they were just having a bad day (I hope). Kristen was an absolute joy ! She checked us out and even carried out the canned food I needed to buy. Look for her! She's awesome.

If I could give less stars I would. They misdiagnosed my dog . They diagnosed him over the phone without even looking at him. I trusted they knew what they were talking about and tried the treatment. They said after 24 hours if he wasn’t better than to come back which I did, and they said they were too busy to see him and he was clearly dying at that point, so I went somewhere else. The new place explained that his symptoms didn’t match with the diagnosis. At that point it was too late. He was too far gone and we had to put him down. I will never go back here. We are heartbroken at a loss of our pet.

This place is fantastic. We moved about 40 minutes away and this place is completely out of our way but we still continue to go here because we love the care and compassion this place has for our dogs. We wouldn't think of going elsewhere.

On a survey (that they asked me for), I stated that I was not greeted upon entering and that I found the half-scraped business hours with dangling paint scraps still attached not conducive to a professional appearance. Later, I received a call from Danielle, who stated she’s the assistant manager, asking for my email address so she may send me my pet’s records. Until this phone call, I had no reason to leave this practice but now I most certainly will be. I find it concerning that this survey was not taken as a way to improve their business but instead was vindictive and taken as an opportunity for Danielle to vent her aggressions on me. Furthermore, I do not believe that her employer knows of her aggression and if they do know this is how she manages the practice and are allowing this, then that’s even more upsetting.

The staff is great and appointments are spaced out well enough that I can bring my cat in without a carrier and there aren't a bunch of animals in the waiting room to make her anxious.

Do yourself a favor and go to another vet ! Seriously don’t go here there is a reason why they are taking new patients when others are not ! After being closed for Labor Day weekend , I called them on the Wednesday after Labor Day , we had a golden with a swollen and puffy eye … while it wasn’t a huge emergency I wanted her to be seen as soon as they could see me.. I was told , VERY rudely that the one vet they had was doing planned and booked surgeries all day & that as they HAD NO OTHER vets and this was the only day the vet would be in that they were CLOSED for the rest of the week until the following Monday ??? So from Saturday ( Labor Day weekends start ) to the following Monday they were open ONE day on 9 days and that one day was for booked surgeries they had vet issues ? This is way past Covid , so that was no an excuse .. can you imagine a dr office for people to tell a patient that ? For a place that is supposed to be there for you furry children , that is unacceptable and awful !! They should close if they cannot keep staff as well as when we had been there before they were rude , unprofessional, send out golden to an emergency vet for ultrasound because they don’t have that and their X-ray equipment is so old it doesn’t work right … so we spent close to 400 to take her to a vet who told us it wAs plainly apparent that there was nothing wrong had the X-rays either been read property or done right ? I should have left then , but as we had just moved and transferred we did not want to do so again … but we now have and if you are looking for A vet in the area do yourself a HUGE favor go to Putnam Animal Hospital they are taking new patients now & have been there. Long time , have new equipment and lots of staff there every day ! They are professional and kind & caring … this place is on a strip mall and is never staffed and also doesn’t answer the phone and has no current technology … oh and they charge you for every little thing and it is 3x’s as expensive as Putnam animal hospital as well … do not go to this place you will be sorry and waste a lot of needless money better spent on your pets daily needs and not on. A greedy unprofessional practice !
