I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich. Great sandwich, I wish the portion was larger because I was still hungry ? otherwise good service and one of the better places to go eat in Kent.

Very good breakfast wrap. I got something simple. Sausage egg and cheese on a gluten-free wrap. Only thing I would adjust is the amount of cheese. There was a lot in each bite but I'd say one or two slices would be enough for me haha. My boyfriend got the chicken and egg which was also amazing.

The food had no taste! My husband and I make the drive to Giffords for it's hospitality and good food. This time the food lacked the flavor that we recall in prior visits.

Have been coming here ever since I moved to town. Things have changed a bit, younger staff now. Quality waivers on the food occassionally. Last week the hashbrowns I ordered were undercooked, and soaked in oil. Putting food items for pick up in a bag seems to ellude them these days. Americano listed as out of stock while they have espresso is interesting...

JP Gifford is on Main Street in Kent, down by House of Books. It seems to a hot spot amongst "kids these days" because when I went in it was packed with teenagers. It makes me feel so old to say, but egads! There was no space to sit, little space to maneuver into line. The ambiance was a bit noisy. Maybe if the outdoor seating had been open... Anyway, there are cold drinks and a coffee station, and if you're not up to waiting for a table, there are many delicious pastries to order to go. They also have a display for self stable items like cocoa powder and dog treats (my dog is loving the salmon flavor!). The pastry I ordered (a chocolate coffee cake) had good flavor, a solid line of chocolate, and traveled well with any breakage.

As a top producer of luxury real estate in the Litchfield Hills of CT, I LOVE this quaint sandwich shop because I can sit down, use their WiFi, grab a delicious chicken sandwich and chat with my out-of-town clients discussing their needs for a vacation home or a corporate move to Kent, CT. I LOVE the staff especially HANNAH - she's so friendly! Don't forget to grab a few cookies to go! They are so DELICIOUS!

The food is great, I recommend the All American Wrap. The servers are all great, and treat you very nicely. I go here with friends a lot and the surrounding ambiance is great if you have some time to kill and are hungry.

J.P. Giffords is one of those solid places that you can always count on a great meal with fantastic service. Today was no exception to that statement! Tried their chicken cutlet with apple (I forget the rest) but it was a solid 10/10! Their other offerings are great as well, the burgers and pad thai are great choices!But the thing that put me over the top today was the chocolate chip cookie! Not knowing me this may not sound like much but that cookie was easily in the top 3 best I've ever had!Will be back for more cookies and more great sandwiches as well!

Came here with some classmates on a trip. This was one of their childhood spots and he recommends the chicken sandwich. I enjoyed my devil on the highway burger, which I got well done, and other folx enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches and pastries (like the lemon poppyseed muffin, which was very soft and most). I was pleasantly surprised that my burger was sweet, and it was filling. The Avocado Toast another friend got lacked seasoning and my hot chocolate was bland, those were not worth the price. I'd come here for a burger again though. Employees were nice and brought food to our table, calling by our name. My friend didn't get their pastry until their coffee was ready. Space wasn't too crowded on a weekend at brunch, it's a good spot whether you're a senior or you have kids.
