My mother once bought me a coat (birthday gift) that did not fit me well. When I tried to exchange it (in brand new unworn condition) - the owner was very difficult about it and would not accommodate. It was not a good experience. I will never forget it.

I could have spent a couple of hours in this beautiful store. I wish I had had more time! I picked up some perfume oil and a couple of earrings. The owner was a very nice gentleman. I will definitely go back ... saw a lot of tops I'd like to purchase.

A wonderful selection of comfortable clothing ( I stock up on summer linens every year), jewelry (especially unusual pieces from the far east selected with great care by Jeff, the owner), Asian antiques, and all kinds of gifts that will fit in most budgets. The staff is helpful and very nice, and a visit to Foreign Cargo is always a lot of fun.

I lived in Kent for years and this is, hands down, the best shop in town. There is always an interesting assortment of jewelry, home decor, clothing, and other fun items that you will not find anywhere else in this country. The prices are generally quite reasonable for what is offered, as well, especially for a store in Kent. If you're in town, definitely stop in; if you're not, I suggest making the trip anyway, you won't be disappointed.

I love going to the store! I go out of my way to visit and have done so for the last 10 years! Interesting and unique items from around the world that you can't find anywhere else at decent prices. Friendly staff in a beautiful quaint town.
