The local public can not have dinner. Only housed guests can eat there. Perhaps this is just for the winter?

Sadly we were very disappointed in our stay at Copper Beech Inn. The rooms are in need of updating and the service was minimal at best. We’ve stayed there before and definitely saw a difference in the quality of the overall place. We will not be returning.

The overall experience was a disappointment for a New Year's Eve dinner. Two of the limited menu items were unavailable. The food was average and not anything special in taste or presentation. It would not be a place I would return to or recommend for a special night out.

Copper Beech has always been my restaurant to celebrate a special occasion - NYE is one of them. Our dinner was good, not a wow, but good. Service was just average, guess I expected more. The kitchen staff was helping out the wait staff by waiting on tables - something they usually don't do, so things didn't always go right. Also, the Copper Beech Inn looks like it needs a renovation, getting pretty dated. Hoping that 2024 brings good changes to the Inn.

I hate to do this, because my wife and I enjoyed our first two stays at Copper Beech Inn the last two years. But this year, when we chose one of the rooms we had stayed in before, we arrived at 8:25 to discover that our room had been changed, without notice, to some other room. The claim was that this was an "upgrade," but a. it was no such thing--it was an ordinary looking hotel room with a barely functional tub, and b. even if it was an upgrade, you can't just change a room without notice...they're not all the same! I called the after hours desk, and the person there told me "I'm not on site, that's an upgrade, I guess I could TRY to change the room, but it may take a while, and so..." It was clear he wasn't optimistic on it being able to happen. In the morning I was told that some guests had been unhappy with the rooms in the same building we had chosen, so they were trying to "consolidate" guests into another building. That's...uh...nice, but it doesn't explain why, when my wife and I knew what room we wanted because we had stayed there before, someone could just change it without asking us. They said they would follow up with us, and haven't. Again, we like this place, but this just isn't the way to do things, and it's too expensive to stay when we can't even be sure we'll end up in the room we requested. Not a great experience.

Our first time here, and it did not disappoint. Built in 1895 according to Kevin, our amazing waiter, the decor is so cute and antique-looking, and was very pretty decorated for the holidays. Our drinks, food, and dessert were all delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Our first visit to the Copper Beech Inn for dinner did not disappoint! They accommodated our request to change our reservation to an earlier time. Before being seated we were able to enjoy some time in the bar room in a relaxed atmosphere. The dinner menu had a variety of delicious meal and dessert options and Kevin our server was knowledgeable, gracious and attentive to our needs. Both food and service was of high quality. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent meal and terrific service from Kevin last night. He immediately asked if we were going to a show and made sure we were out on time. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, Copper Beach Inn provided a wonderful experience for this foursome.

Consistently our favorite restaurant in the Ivortyton area. Beautiful building, delicious food, great drinks, and outstanding staff make Copper Beech a "can't miss" spot for any meal or event! The drink selection is top notch... and for food... highly recommend the salmon, the ravioli, and the crab cakes! Enjoy!

Our Server was terrific and understanding myself, and one of my guests at our table of four ordered the roast chicken. The chicken itself was terrible. Very rubbery and strange texture. We were able to convey this to the Waiter who apologize profusely, and I quickly said, can you replace with steak Frittes which I figured would be the quickest thing on the menu. Well we waited a considerably long time and are two companions finished their dinners long before our steaks arrived. we were in a rush to get to the theater, which we had expressed when we arrived. We were able to make it on time, but I was very surprised that no consideration was given on our bill. We are unlikely to return.

Wonderful first time staying at Copper Beech Inn. Our room was better than it looked on line. Staff was welcoming and accommodating us. Fabulous and romantic dinner. Breakfast was so nice enjoying with a fresh cup of coffee in the sun room in the morning. We look forward to many more stays here in the future.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Copper Beech Inn. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Yes you can hear some noise in the hallway because the building is old, but it really wasn’t bad and we had no trouble sleeping. Krista the Innkeeper and Katie at the front desk were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. The steak at the restaurant was the best I’ve ever had! We are already looking forward to going back!

The French Onion soup was really tasty. I had the clam chowder last time, was also very good. The steak was cooked to perfection. They have my favorite bourbons in the bar (blantons, basil hayden).

Service was extremely slow. While a server brought us the included antipasto plate straight away, it was a full 15 minutes before the assigned server appeared to ask about drinks, and nearly 10 minutes more before the arrived. (Wine, not a fussy cocktail). A runner dropped off the first course in between, but we had finished both antipasto and starter courses before we got our drinks. It was Thanksgiving but we arrived at what appeared to be the end of the rush (by the time we got our entrees the entire section around us was empty), and we found out on the price fixe menu that a holiday gratuity of 22% would be applied to the bill. Just thinking that with your tip guaranteed, maybe you don't worry much about your service ?

It was nice to find a place serving Thanksgiving dinner. They were short staffed as many places are it seems. We ordered interesting cocktails which unfortunately did not come until dinner was served. We declined them and went to wine instead. Too bad. They looked good. Service was slow but rushed when everything finally came. Pretty pricey given what we finally did have. Waittress very nice but very busy.
