“My first CarMax experience. They are very low key on sales...to the point where the first time I went in I couldn't get a salesperson to talk to me! But I made an appointment and came back and found them easy to work with. There the sticker price is the price: There's no add on fees like at dealerships - no "conveyance" charges or other BS.
I did have an issue with the car I bought (a listed feature was not actually on the car) but I will say the managers were quick to understand the problem and we came to a very reasonable agreement to resolve it.
Overall I was pleased with my experience at CarMax and will probably look to them for my next car.”
