My husband and I had a great experience at U-Haul because of the great service we received from Lucy! From the beginning, she was kind, helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. She made the check-in process painless. She even went the extra mile of helping us find our truck. If I owned my own business, I would hire her. U-Haul is fortunate to have such a wonderful employee!Thanks again Lucy for being so kind and efficient!

I will never come back to this U-Haul, you simply could not pay me. I rented my van for a quick in-town move and returned to find someone had double-parked illegally behind my car while the building next door was having a loud party. I called U-Haul who left me on hold for 30 minutes to tell me that they couldn’t help because it was someone else’s car. No one at the buisseness could be reached, not the owner, not the general manager, not a single employee. I waited over two hours, trying to get in contact with anyone. The 24/7 uhaul line told me to return the van and figure the rest out weather it be sleeping in my car or paying (myself) for a 40 minute Uber. I don’t care how close this U-Haul is to wherever you are moving or whatever you are doing, if you will be moving past night fall chose another location. DO NOT COME HERE. It will cost you time and whatever money you spend to recover your car.An update: I was finally able to get in contact with the owner who told me to call the police for help (I have been doing this since I got here).

I wont do business with this location again. Rcvd a call that the truck was not available for this Saturday. Even though I made the reservation weeks ago. When I said you've got to be kidding me calling me at 6:10 when the reservation is for this Saturday woman said better to tell me now than wait till Saturday. This of course did not sit well and she told me there was no need to get upset with her. I can change to Friday or Sunday otherwise she can cancel the reservation. I asked to speak with a manager a nd she told me I am the manager honey. Said I can call customer service if I didn't accept her offer to change dates. Which took over 1 hour on hold BTW. She inferred I caused the inconvenience because somehow my online reservation should not have been allowed since they were overbooked if I could give less than one star I would. No one should be subjected to this level of customer service or lack thereof.

Horrible their trucks aren’t properly running and they don’t care I had to call customer service to file a complaint after the manger processed my order after I told them the truck almost killed us I definitely filed a complaint with corporate for the manger and store if you read these reviews this store has been problematic and they don’t care which is why I delt with my issue through corporate and not the store nobody about to get rude with me about some trucks that don’t even run properly if ya don’t like ya job get a new one that pays better so ya attitudes don’t stink got half my money back and contacted corporate

Don’t bother with online ordering as the online inventory isn’t correct and multiple items ordered not in stock. Beyond that what was ordered wasn’t pulled before coming in and making request. Extended wait and need for reorder and refund instead of order and pick as promised online.

I understand that it's a contract when you get a uhaul but calling a customer and being rude to then just cause the kept the uhall few more or whatever is uncalled for its not like its stolen and especially when I've talked to the person just rude and when I drop the van off I will. E talking to her employer cause hanging up on someone b.c your in ya feelings is uncalled for

do not use this location. the manager is not nice to deal with and make uhaul as a brand look terrible. i guess she’s having a bad day and take it out on the customers (that’s not me). the short puerto rican lady. because the person asked questions doesn’t mean she has to get an attitude with customer. i rather go somewhere and pay more just not to deal with her.

DiEddia and April of your 3197 Main Strert, Hartford store are the nicest, most professional and competent employees Uhaul has EVER hired! I am 57 years old and have dealt with Uhaul for over 40 years and these 2 women should get DOUBLE of whatever you are paying them now AND they should train the rest of your employees on how to act, treat people and run a store! The lady named Samoah was extremely helpful. The whole booking was very smooth and didn’t take much time . The return was extremely smooth and happened in a few minutes. Service was excellent. Especially the girl at the time of return was very efficient and very courteous. Her name was Samoah.

They need more than one worker working the counter over the weekend the line that you have to wait in is ridiculous i had a reservation for 3:15 and im still in line at 3:42 theres no where to sit
