Broke my leg working, made the appointment over the phone, was told it was busy. Arrived at the West Main Street Waterbury Urgent Care at 1:10 for my 3:00 appointment. Upon arrival I noticed maybe seven people in the waiting area. Not all of them had appointments I learned, as we all got to know each other over the next FOUR hours.I watched them come and go, as well as walk ins from the street being seen ahead of me.This place has some serious communication issues. Didn't get taken in until 4:05. Then waited in an examination room until, 4:45 when someone came in to let me know I was next in line for x rays. That happened at 5:00.Determined my leg was indeed broken, yet didn't ask me where my pharmacy is.What planet am I on?!?!?!?

I had a first cardiology appt with Dr. A. Mirza as my health has had some issues recently. I was very nervous and his friendly and quiet demeanor put me at ease. He explained my symptoms and described how he will help me control them. I am so glad that I chose him as my new addition to my health team.

Dr. Mahmut always makes me feel perfectly at ease, explains everything in terms that are comprehensible and listens to my concerns. She is gracious and kind, and I trust her implicitly. I would recommend her very highly to anyone seeking a sensitive and knowledgable cardiologist.
