I have an amazing experience. Candese's customer service was exceptional, and her eagerness to assist was unparalleled; she is just great, and it was precisely what I was searching for. She went above and above to assist me. Once you contact the office, she is very responsive and inviting with her friendly nature; it is always a pleasure because you will not feel like a nuisance.

We’ve been living here for about two years now and we absolutely love everything about this place! From the beautiful relaxing views of the city to the amenities have made this place an enjoyable home to stay at. Plus, the management team and maintenance are awesome! They are always there for you if you have any issues or concerns. I highly suggest moving here for these reasons! And oh, if you do move here, try getting the view of the baseball stadium and city, it’s very cozy and mentally relaxing ☺️

Everything has improved since last year. The new management and new constructions made the place much better in the past few months.

I once gave this place a bad review but I had to update it. My fiancé and I moved in back when the apartments were new and it was still partially a hotel. The quality of living has been a roller coaster, management has changed a few times, but things have improved quite a bit recently. The biggest fixes for me is that the fire alarm doesn’t go off constantly anymore and the parking situation is much better. They just opened a gym, a game room with pool/air hockey/pinball/Pac-Man, and a mini movie theater. There are other new things but those are the ones I tested/enjoyed the most. The views on both sides of the building are amazing, makes working from home even better. They opened a pool last summer and they’re almost done with a mural on the side of the building. We also love the location, tons of sports/bars/restaurants to choose from, Bushnell park and the Riverfront, and Pratt street always has something going on.

Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for property managers and maintenance.. But for some residents one or zero Stars! Aside from one really sweet neighbor!Loud music at Midnight. It’s the kind of loud music that makes the walls and tvs vibrate and make your dogs bark. Not great! Wouldn’t complain but when u have to wake up at 4 am not fun!

In June, we contacted the new management about several issues:- Unsafe parking garage (rebar and cement regularly falls out of the ceiling).-They fired the security personnel, resulting in deteriorating tenant safety.-Building cleaning and waste removal was not being done in a regular fashion which made for unsanitary living conditions.- Our washer/dryer combination unit takes 12 hours to dry one small load of laundry. The community laundry room requires payment to use. I already pay for laundry in my rent, and management is actively taking advantage of me by charging me for something that they have not provided.- Maintenance likes to close work orders for community areas before they have done any work. This has happened several times when water leaked into light fixtures and through electrical outlets. Mold grows in these areas that haven't been properly treated post water leak, nor have the underlying causes been investigated.-Unsecured tenant mailboxes.- No employees were masking in the building. Later, after Hartford implemented a city-wide mask mandate, they have still resisted making management wear masks (Erin, Caspin, Vicki & Yitz have all been maskless with others in the office and other communal parts of the building. Thanks for caring about your tenants!)Instead of responding to any of these issues, management informed us that we were going to start getting charged over $70/month for each car that would park in the garage. This is because the Vice President, Yitz Rabinowitz, has financial ties with LAZ parking. We immediately filed complaints with the building department of Hartford and Hartford Fair Rent Commission. The building department immediately condemned the parking garage and they had to retract their threat to charge parking fees. They made tenants start parking on the upper level. They sent out a notice ensuring us that they had enough spaces for all the residents here. This turned out to not be the case, as later on Yitz bragged that he had zero intentions of only leasing the number of apartments that he could adequately provide parking for. After assuring tenants that there were enough spaces, they kept leasing more apartments and moving in more tenants. Another negative side effect of this is that our hot water now goes out regularly, usually on the weekends. Hope you don't like hot showers on the weekend, because you won't get them here. It's gone out at least a half dozen times since September. We had to call emergency maintenance just this morning because it was out.Because there weren't enough parking spaces, people were parking blocking the main driveways and fire lanes in the main areas of the lot. The fire marshal started coming and having people towed, but the employees here (including Yitz, the Vice President) refused to do anything constructive to help the issue. Around this time, overflow parkers now have to walk past the highway to get home, which is not the safest route to walk, especially at night alone. Around this time, the fire alarms started going off; sometimes as often as four times a week. When the fire department would come, they couldn't get the trucks close to the building. Yitz STILL wouldn't help.Yitz was recently in the media quite a bit, bragging about how he was investing $8 million dollars into this building. However, we think that he has been spending these funds elsewhere. There is a skeleton crew here. The construction by the leasing office was supposed to be complete over a month ago but nobody is working. The upper parking lot project was also supposed to be finished by now.Yitz and his band of thieves also tried to get us to park in a condemned parking garage. They decided last minute that they would half the number of parking spaces available and send us back down to the parking garage. The only difference is that now about 75% of the parking garage is inaccessible because it is structurally unsafe. THIS IS THE BASE OF OUR APARTMENT BUILDING. YOU ARE GOING TO BE READING ABOUT THIS BUILDING COLLAPSING, JUST LIKE FLORIDA.

The Millennium is a large building that fell into a transition stage from the previous owner to the new one .Honestly speaking, a lot has changed for better and to be fair we should not expect every thing to be ideal overnight. Something which is admirable is the consistency of the new manager effort to make things perfect for residents. Thanks Andrew!

A really bad place to live, unless you’re searching for: off-site parking (after being promised a spot on the property); incessant jackhammering throughout the day with no end to the construction in sight; not having your mail delivered; absent and stubborn management stooges who give quotes for magazine features out of one side of their mouth while threatening their tenants out of the other; tiny washer/dryer units that work half the time; a fitness center with minimal equipment that’s frequently broken; and zero security, so anyone can access the elevators and ride them to your floor. If those boxes aren’t on your checklist for a place to live, I suggest looking elsewhere.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!-On-site garage is a total disaster. Not only is the condition awful but there is NO GATE, SECURITY, or SURVEILLANCE. My car has had it’s catalytic converter STOLEN and management refused to do anything preventative. Instead, I was advised to park at an offsite garage in Hartford and walk back to the building (this building is located in a high crime area). Tenants have been filing complaints about their cars being broken into, damaged, and their property being stolen and management still will not do anything to fix it.-The in-unit washer/dryer breaks ALL THE TIME. Do not let them sell you on this point.-The firealarm goes off A LOT. I’m told it’s old and faulty. We never really know why because management does not tell us.-Overall, horrible management. They are never on site and once we keep going through property managers and staff. They do not care about good business practices, clearly.Update 05/16/2022: Do not move here if you have trouble with movement. The elevators break a lot and you will have to walk up the stairs.
