Hate to be mean but I stopped in for supplies for a simple painting project. Staff was all watching the eclipse. Sold me the wrong paint at ridiculous price and were "too busy watching the eclipse to shake the paint" hopefully every day isn't that bad but I will never be back. As a local resident I cannot recommend less. Boo

I will never go back to Star Hardware or recommend anyone to go there. I brought a 30” cabinet for a renovation and it was a little to big and I just need to exchange it for a 24” base cabinet. I had the cabinet in my possession for less than 24 hours and was asking for a simple exchange and would have paid the difference, with no problem. As the customer service person was trying to assist me, the owner came over and asked what was she doing… the CSR explained, and the owner berated her in her of me and other people in the store, stating they cannot exchange my cabinets and she should’ve known that. The owner practically yelled at the Star employee, with no remorse, and then walked away, leaving the employee in an awkward position in front of the customer (me). I felt as though it was very demeaning and went and to speak to the owner in regards to her demeanor. She obviously denied that she berated her employee, and never apologized for her actions towards her employee or the customer (me). In my opinion, no owner, manager or supervisor should belittle, yell or disrespect employees in front or customers or ever. Nevertheless, like everyone else who has complained about not being able to return their cabinets, I am stuck with two new and used cabinets that I can’t do anything with. I will NEVER go back to Star Hardware and I would recommend people to seek deals elsewhere.

I have had the worst experience of my life with these corrupted people. I placed an order for kitchen two weeks ago and they told me they will call me whenever it arrives. However, I called these people yesterday to on the status of my order; they said it is ready for pick and come down to pick them up. When I arrived there they said that they are not ready and I have come to back another day. I rented a U-haul truck for $160 and drove 45 miles from my house to go there and pick up the cabinets but it wasn’t ready and they lied to me and also wasted my money, time and my day. I would never ? come back to store and won’t recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing

Be careful they sell you cabinets that are not made of plywood and then you get stuck with them. Unable to complete my kitchen renovation. No option to return the cabinets. unfortunately, I am speaking from my own experience. I would never recommend this place to not even my enemies. They deserve no stars, but there was no option for that. Don't be fooled, like I was. Take your business elsewhere.

Called after seeing a Craigslist ad. I specifically asked about windows being in stock, and was told they were. I then clarified the specific number and asked again verbatim "These are in stock and ready to go, right?" Yes. I drove an hour to the hardware store and... they weren't in stock.

Done numerous apartment renovations with the cabinetry they have out in the warehouse. High quality cabinetry for a great price. Also friendly staff and good selection of home improvement wares.

They won't accept payment over the phone and for an unknown reason they refuse to update their website to match current inventory. You have to go there in person to purchase anything. Very inconvenient.
