Second time here (first time was a charm ) I was not by the least satisfied . major issues were the quality of the replaced parts and the quality of the paint job. to be honest i feel like they rushed the job even though they had the car for a little under a month. the grille they ordered didn't snap in properly because there is a gap between the girl and the car , the bumper that they ordered has defects in it , and the paint job color is off and sloppy . totally unpleased with the service .Services: Painting

My BMW got hit the day before Christmas Eve and I went to get a quote from a body shop closer to me and was given the runaround. So I thought of Ledyard Auto Body, called them up and was told to bring my car right on over. They took one look at my vehicle and despite how busy they were they told me they would get me right in in less than a week so that I can have my car as soon as possible. The finished product was incredibly impressive as it looked like my car just came off the show room floor. I was thrilled to see how beautiful of a job they did. I can’t thank you guys enough and how much I appreciate your attention to detail, professionalism and enthusiasm to fix my car. Look no further they are truly THE BEST!!!

They did a great job working on my car. Obviously due to supply chain issues during this covid times, it took a lot of time to get the original parts. They are very good professionals and are very prompt in giving honest updates on your car’s progress whenever required.

Ledyard auto body is a "certified Mercedes repair shop" thats a fancy way of saying they are going to charge you extra for their service. I brought my Mercedes to them and after repairing when questioned as to a few minor issues the tech immediately deferred to there bein prior work done on the car. Which was fine . But that's passing the buck. within a few weeks the paint chipped excessively , so I brought the car back .I was told this was common and I needed to put a clear coat over the paint that they did, as it will chip if its not done at the factory.Problem with that. Remember how I had that prior work done ? Yeah well the paint didn't chip. They did re paint the front and I left . A few months later I went under the hood to add motor oil.. all of the housing screws were loose or missing and the housing that covers / encloses the engine all the parts were loose my air flow hoses engine cover etc there like 6 small screws that attach. Of the six three were missing two were loose. They were the last people under the hood of the car. Its my guess someone was in a rush.. plus they were making "no money" off fixing what they did wrong so my car got minimal attention to detail. Heres the problem you wanna be a "certified Mercedes repair shop" ..you just don't forget the details like that. Thats what all the other shops do. I found nothing exceptional about this shop and I would not recommend or use them again. Btw the paint hasn't chipped like the fist time snd i never put the protector on so that means the first job was done wrong. Which means My time was wasted and I had to rent another car while they had it the second time outta pocket .

Ledyard auto body was highly recommended by the Mercedes dealer, as they are their certified collusion center. I had excellent luck this year when a free fell on my 2020 CLA 250 during one of the storms. While it was mostly glass damage, it was a pretty good about of work. From the very first time I called, I was impressed with the service here. I spoke with Jim every time. He arraigned a tow from my house to the shop, and worked directly with my insurance company. Once work got underway, I had the car back in about 2 weeks. Jim was always on the other line when I called, or very quick to respond to my emails. They are extremely professional, and do excellent work here. My car looks and runs as good as new! I highly recommend Ledyard auto body. They have a customer for life!

My poor Mercedes was involved in a hit in run. I always take my car to the dealership but they no longer do collision damage and they told me they use Ledyard. Enough said. Ledyard was very pleasant and efficient. They fixed my car beautifully. I am saving their contact on my phone for future business just in case I would have to need them again. Hopefully not, but if I do, I trust their work. My car looks better than ever. Thank you Angelo, Jim, and the staff who worked on my car. Very pleased to get it back today. Awesome. ☺

Best Autobody shop in the northeast! They repair very high end vehicles as well as your everyday car. You can drop off your car and they will deal with the insurance companies. Very easy to get to from int 91.

My poor car was smashed via a hit and run. The front bumper was extremely dinged up and needed to be replaced. Ledyard Street Auto Body reached out to me after my insurance submitted the paperwork and scheduled me in immediately. My car came back looking brand new! The bumper was fully replaced and matched 100%, I couldn't even tell this wasn't my car's original bumper. They buffed out a couple of scratches and shined my car up like it was brand new! Jim and Angelo were the reps that I dealt with and they were extremely pleasant and so easy to work with! The guys in the shop doing the labor were nice, too! I HIGHLY recommend Ledyard Street Auto Body to be your go to body shop. The whole "needing a body shop" can be an excruciating process, especially after an accident or hit and run, but these guys assured me that this process would be easy and smooth - and it sure was! Thank you Ledyard Street Auto Body!

I just picked up my car today and it was clean, washed and looks perfect! It only took 2 days to fix some small dents, scuffing and minor damage from a parallel parking attempt gone wrong

Angelo and his team are the real deal! After taking my S550 to multiple mechanics for months with no success I finally turned to Angelo. Angelo and his team fit me in the schedule right away. They knew exactly what was wrong with the car as soon as they looked at it. They have all the necessary equipment and expertise. They were able to quickly identify the problem and give me genuine options as to what I should do with my best interest in mind. They are fair and honest. I will never go elsewhere again.
