Love the freshly pressed sugarcane juice. Easily beats the ones we can get from NYC's smorgasborg or other "fancier" spots. Generally good inventory of Asian/Vietnamese ingredients.

Very unassuming Asian Market. Their Banh Mi sandwich is by far the best if not one of the best I have had, and I’ve had many in different states. Diamond in the rough for sure. You will not be disappointed

I did a takeout of excellent bahn mi beef sandwich, fried rice cakes, and summer rolls. Delicious! Homemade sauces. Highly recommend. Also, it is a full fledged food market. I bought cans of grass jelly that are pretty hard to find. The unsweetened kind is rare. I also bought very fresh basil leaves, instant buldak noodles, tofu, daikon, good sesame oil. They have curry paste, coconut milk. A selection of baked goods from NYC Chinatown. Very smart and nice shop owners. Pretty easy side trip from 84 and 91 interstates. Did I say I strongly recommend?

Drove by Hartford, I'm from Boston so Vietnamese food is plentiful. With that said, their Banh Mi sandwiches are the best if not one of the best I have had. The best Banh Mi I've had stateside for sure. Ask them to separate the veggie if you don't eat right away so the bread won't get soggy. Such a rare and weird find for me, truly Diamond in the rough

You know me, whenever I see a family owned business... I get excited when I see the Mom's and family cooking. This is a small market in Hartford's west end. It has traditional items, but I did see frozen quail in the frozen section, and that's exciting!!! There is a little deli in the back corner, and I received the very best Bahn mi sandwich with the passion fruit drink. The drink was sweet!!! but filled with little aloe chunks, grass jelly, and candy seeds, and I like that. I just let the ice water it down. I could eat 2 sandwiches, fo' sho!!! So good. The menu is small, but that makes for easy decisions. Staff was knowledgeable and! friendly:) My fav

The best authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi I have tasted in Connecticut. And so many other tasteful gourmets strongly recommended like roasted duck noodle, spring roll, VN ice coffee...Strongly recommend Kien market with new friendly owners Phuong and Loan.

Great Asian grocery with an amazing restaurant in the back. The banh mi was some of the best I had and everyone was extremely friendly! Highly recommend.

An asian grocery shop with limited fresh goods. There is a small eating dining area at the back with a limited menu. I tried the roast duck noodle soup. It was not bad.

The grocery is small and aisles are narrow but the Banh Mi is the best! I don’t really do my grocery shopping here unless I was there to get their Banh Mi. I would asked to separate the veggies and asked not to toast the bread. I can do it by myself when I’m ready to eat and it doesn’t get soggy.

No air conditioning on an 80° afternoon - ugh! Very dark atmosphere, narrow aisles, deli area closed while store still open, deli floor was being wet mopped while I shopped. After carefully checking the entire store out, I found one item for me. However, I couldn't use my debit card! Bad experience. Very hot and forgetful?

This market is small but they pack a LOT of stuff within their four walls. Yes, it's technically a Vietnamese market but they carry all sorts of Asian products and their prices are reasonable. You can use a debit card with a $7 minimum purchase and a credit card with a $10 minimum purchase. Parking in front of the store on Park can be hit or miss, especially because it's such a busy street. Luckily, they have a parking lot in back that you can access from the east side of the building (to the left if you're facing the store). The little restaurant in the back of the store has delicious food: banh mi, pho, goi cuon, and other Viet foods. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Best banh mi I've had yet....pho was ok...kinda disappointed my soup was cloudy and had the skum u was supposed to filter out...but on the other side the spicy beef noodle soup was by far the best I've had
