Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Amazing group of people to work with. From Maggie finding the truck to Nick and Guy making the deal with me, the financial department hell even the main entrance secretary/showroom director was amazing with me and my kids. Would recommend them to any and everyone. Top notch service down to earth, truly blown away by their demeanor and assistance.

This is a review for my experience with the finance department.Once I heard from finance, they tried to tell me about how I didn’t need a co-buyer. But I do in fact need my co-buyer on the title for insurance purposes and Toyota sales told me that anyone on registration needs to also be on the loan. Finance said it’s not true, I had to again be politely firm and they agreed to keep the info as is. It’s confusing why that even mattered, unless there was motive to charge me higher interest without my co-buyer.I sent finance my info, told them I am transferring my plates and gave the number. They confirmed they received the messages. I was told by the salesman that I needed everything ready 24 hours in advance of the appointment to pick up, and at two days prior, I had to reach out again and ask for lien holder info they were supposed to send.The appointment day came, I got out of work earlier than expected, I let the team know if theres an earlier time that day, I was available. They told me to come in early, gave me a specific time.My co-buyer and I showed up on time, were sat at a desk, and then endured 45 minutes of “just one moment” back and forth from the salesman and finance business manager. Eventually finance came and said they never got my co-buyers application. I had confirmation that it was received. They found it and let us know at least a half hour later.More waiting and we were called into the financial office to sit and wait some more. I asked some questions about the packages and the price difference and was totally ignored. We got to signing some of the contracts when finance told me its more expensive to transfer my plates than to get new ones. Told me this in the office, after I had already sent my plate info days prior and was sitting there with my updated insurance so I could drive the car off. It was a $30 difference, and they were making it seem like a big issue. They ignored and later aggressively contested my questions about not wanting to pay a couple hundred for things I didn’t want, but felt so strongly $30 would be the big hit to my bank account? I paid it, and then had to re-sign all those contracts again to add it to the loan.Our time actually being spoken with (spoken at) in the finance office felt rushed, our info was being loudly read with the door wide open to the lobby, the business manager took calls and tended to multiple other people in front of us. I understand being busy, but they had told us a time to come in, had none of our paperwork ready, had us waiting for extended periods of time, and spoke to us with such irritation in their voice that I couldn’t believe this was a professional business at all.About three hours after arriving for the appointment, I left with my car. This week my co-buyer and I received scam postal mail dated the day I purchased the car, claiming to be Bank of America, through Toyota. Whether it was from letting our information be heard by the lobby, a data breach in the Toyota app or online services, or someone working at this location, I do not know.I would never recommend this location for financing. The salesmen I spoke to were decent and friendly. I have not had any experience with service department yet.This location might benefit from having a by-appointment-only model, and scheduling walk-ins for the slots they aren’t booked.

Single handedly the worst experience at a car dealership ever. I wanted to see and test drive a RAV4 Hybrid. Immediate high pressure sales tactics by the manager surpassed any possible stereotype of a “car salesman”.The young woman at the front desk who greeted us was the only nice part of the experience.By the way, I went to Hoffman Toyota the very next day and bought a used RAV4 Hybrid and put down a deposit on a new one being ordered.

Had My Bank e-Check Ready to Buy My Brand New Toyota, Salesman Said This Dealership No Longer Accepts Them; Adding, I Would Need to Make the Purchase Vîa Toyota Credit. The Finance Mgr., Once He Had My Personal Information, Ran Five (5) Separate “Hard” Credit Checks On Me. Even Though My Credit Score Was At a Respectable 800. I Had Expected to Be Here an Hour or Two; Ended Up Being Almost Six (6) Hours. The Finance Mgr. Said the Credit & Background Check(s) Took Extra Time. No Apologies, Just “Thank You for Your Patience”. Will Not Be Returning Here; Not Even for Routine Service. I Do Not Believe All the Phone Calls and Computer Inquiries Were Necessary and Six Hours to Simply Purchase a Vehicle Was Outrageous.

Do not work with Janice Acosta for any of your service appointments! I came in for an appointment for a recall for my cargo light that has been leaking. I have been waiting for the recall item to be ready for over a month. When I checked in with her she was being very short with me and didn’t have any concerns for the issue I was having with my truck. She told me that nothing has been answered with the recall item and that she couldn’t do anything to help and proceeded to tell me to leave. She even told me to do the work at calling the rep about the recall item status instead of her doing her job. After I voiced my concerns about the severity of my leaking truck she clearly didn’t care and wanted me to leave. I wasn’t going to leave without a solution so I went right to another advisor. Steve Elliot, who was a breath of fresh air compared to Janice, listened to my concerns and was able to get my truck in to service. He was a great guy and did a great job. I appreciated his kindness and help. So to make this long story short…Fire Janice.Give Steve a raise.

the dealership itself is ghetto, the service advisor don't care. the owner son richard mccallster is rude, doesn't care to run the dealership, is irresponsible with every invoice and every deal. they don't care about the customers. the labor rate is high and your car is never service the same day. you'll be waiting all day for a response from ANY person working in this dealership. Nancy Jackson the Office Manger was rude, i was getting my car service and over heard her conversation and it was absolutely disgusting to overhear on my end. i feel for the employees that have to work under richard or nancy. as well as how the dealership and the service advisor do? it's completely the WORSE dealership to ever want to purchase your car from or get your car service. Richard is Only 30 years old and smoke illegal substance as well as drinking and doesn't not know how to properly run a dealership. this has been the absolute worse experience and would continue to tell people to never work or service or purchase a vehicle from these people! 0 STARS if i could!

I could not have asked for a better experience from Hartford Toyota! I walked in telling them exactly what I want and to my surprise, they were getting that exact vehicle! Kaleb, Rich and Andie took great car of me and made sure everything was immaculate and easy for me. Please go see them!

Henry was our sales rep and was incredible and very honest. He took time with us and even when we realized there was something the dealer forgot to give us he took care of us! We looked at other Toyota dealers and he was by far the best! He treated us kindly even though we didn't buy the most expensive car!

My family had an excellent experience with Ben and the rest of the sales/financing staff. After his car had been totaled by an elderly driver, my husband was in desperate need of a dependable vehicle for work. At Hartford Toyota, we were able to purchase a beautiful, nearly new Camry LE, with a low interest rate loan, in less than a week.

I tried buying a car there and had to leave. The knowledge level was poor - had to get "answers tomorrow and get back to me". Never heard back - instead I heard from sales, sales manager, general manager, etc. - all just asking to came back for another sales-pitch, but none of them answering my outstanding questions.Biggest concern is buying a 'used' car. They do virtually nothing to warrantee used cars.~Jim Doherty

My brand new 2022 Toyota Rav4 has Platinum warranty. I bought the car from different dealership. I know that Platinum warranty is the highest level of electrical, mechanical breakdown protection offered by Toyota. Also, doesn’t matter where I bought the car, that warranty works on every Toyota dealership. Hartford toyota found a wheel bearing problem on my car and it’s mostly covered by Platinum Warranty. A mean service advisor said that my warranty does not work on Hartford Toyota. Told me to go where I bought the car.I called toyota center and they said that they needed to fix without questioning where I bought the car. So, service advisor lied to me. This dealer Not recommended. They lie a lot or they don’t know what they are doing. They bring their personal feelings such as sadness, madness to work. They already lost 4 families, which is 9 cars total. I will keep not recommending it to my work friends in Hartford. Good luck with unprofessionalism
