Only stars for Elite flooring and Eddie! Eddie and his team were insightful in their recommendation and precise and excellent in their execution! Not to mention they were very organized and they cleaned up at the end of every day. Nick is also super responsive when following up on referrals. Highly recommend!

When my company first got into home renovation we stumbled upon Elite Flooring and we’re glad we did! They’ve handled all of our hardwood refinishing jobs over the past two years and have done a great job bringing some old floors back to life and looking as good as new. Consistently on time, efficient, and at a price we can’t beat. We have no reason to look elsewhere!

So glad I found them! Fast, professional and clean,,, my favorite type of contractor. After a very informative consultation our backsplash was installed quickly and EXACTLY as we had asked (see photo). My wife and I decided to hire them again for our shower project before the grout was dry.

Eddie did a great job, as usual. This was our fourth project with Forged In Oak & Iron. The floor and the new door look amazing. We couldn't be happier. The staff is knowledgeable and so easy to work with. We will definitely be using them again.

From start to finish Elite Flooring was wonderful to work with for an entire home remodel. We hired Nick & his team for 2 baths, kitchen flooring, backsplash and carpet. I initially went in and met with Katie. I had a couple ideas and she immediately put my vision together. She is amazing to work with! House came out beautiful and we are extremely happy! Will definitely use them again. Thank you Nick and entire team at Elite Flooring.

We just recently had our kitchen floor tiled, our kitchen backslash, and our bathroom floor ,and tub area tiled by Elite Flooring. They did a beautiful job on all ,which we are very happy with. The installers were professional, and very polite , the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Nick and Katie for all your help.

I recently hired Nick at Oak & Iron to install a glass tile backsplash in my kitchen. Eddie and the crew were able to match and blend in the new tile with my existing tile perfectly. They were prompt in responding to my questions and kept me informed at every stage of the process. I highly recommend.

Do not use this business for any kitchen upgrades. We had them do our kitchen renovation and it was the biggest mistake we made. Kate said they do kitchen upgrades and have contractors who do each part of the job. Well that was a lie because we're thinking we'll have experienced licensed contractors for each aspect of the job and that was not the case. They have one guy do the floor, cabinet and plumbing and a newly licensed electrician. They said the job would take 3 - 4 weeks and took over 6 weeks. They start at 10 - 11 am and out well before five, no weekends. If it could go wrong, it did.Dumpster in my driveway for three weeks. They left all their tools on the floor by the appliances everyday with five gallon home depot buckets filled with dirty water, no covers. If you have kids or pets, an accident waiting to happen. Wife had to empty the buckets so cat wouldn't drink from it.Didn't cover anything up during teardown so dust, dirt everywhere until I cleaned it up and covered my appliances and windows. Taped cloth vertical blinds to sliding glass door, then they put in garage on dirty floor, had to throw them out.Putting in recessed lights they put in many holes to run wires, etc. into a popcorn ceiling. Of course they couldn't match the popcorn ceiling with all the holes they put in, so the whole ceiling had to be scrapped, compounded and painted several times which caused even a bigger mess. Then the tape they used pulled the paint off the hallway which was hard to match since I didn't have exact paint.Instead of using new pipes for kitchen sink, and disposal, they tried to use old pipes and they leaked. Left pipes off while going to get new not telling anyone and the sink gets turned on and water runs into new cabinets. They hooked up dishwasher to new garbage disposal and forgot to take out plug. Run dishwasher and it can't drain. We wet vac water out of dishwasher. Nick calls a real plumber to come over and fix it and check all other plumbing fixtures. If we had a real plumber from the start, no issues. That cuts into profit.Biggest issue is we lost drawer space because Nick and the " designer " decided to shorten the width of the cabinet by the refrigerator to move the fridge over so it wouldn't stick out past the wall and didn't tell me. I was fine with the fridge sticking out. Thus we went from four drawers to three and lost at least four plus inches in width. This was a lot since this is the only spot for silverware, utensils, etc. Finally complete after six weeks before Christmas starting 11/7 and on Christmas day, the glass dome of the new ceiling light fixture comes crashing down at 4 pm and shatters all over the new kitchen floor. Luckily no one or cat are under the light.Go to pay Nick and he says he can't itemize the bill. Reason being he gouged us on pricing from all the new kitchen hardware, ie sink, faucet, garbage disposal, etc we had picked out and we found out afterwards the real prices.Better Business Bureau rates them B- now and I haven't yet talked to them.Overall, if you are going to do your kitchen over, get references, do lots of research and avoid this business. There were other issues which can't be printed and I'll leave it at that.

Experience was rather awful. The guys sent were not respectful of my property. They broke my grandmother's lawn ornament and the bird house my 5yr old painted. They were asked to stay out of the carpeted 4 seasons room as I had left my cat shut in the room. They not only went into that room but left the door propped open allowing the cat to walk around on the wet chemicals. They broke off my bedroom closet door and left it in the bathroom blocking the shower. They left saw dust everywhere and didn't attempt to clean any of it that landed on items like my pellet stove, the tile around the pellet stove, mantle, window stills, etc. Many spots were missed with the stain, which they came back and colored in with markers. When they did they ripped both arms off my couch trying to get behind it. (The long scratch in the picture is due to the broken closet door.) I am still finding spots missing stain. I just bought my own marker (easy to find the right one since they left the empty ones and trash at my house) because I don't want them back in my house. They were very messy with the stain getting it on my freshly painted walls. They also damaged every wall edge/corner in the house. I just repaired and painted the walls prior to telling them to come do the floors and now I have to redo these corners. I don't think 4 layers of polyurethane, which I paid for, were applied. There are now tiny little scratches all over the floor from just walking around on it and it hasn't been 3 months since the floors were refinished. I moved furniture on pads and towels to prevent scratching the newly finished floors, however they scratched anyway. I also didn't see any polyurethane on the walls like the stain so I find it hard to believe they were that messy with stain but perfect with the polyurethane. Nick was contacted about several issues and didn't bother to take the time to come out and look. He assumed I was complaining about nothing and didn't address the property damage his workers caused or the fact they nearly killed my cat (he was very sick when I came home and found him). He sent the same crew out twice that didn't fix all the issues. I would not go with this company for flooring. I should have done it myself because I don't think I could have done a worse job and it would have cost less than the 3k+ I paid.

Installed new flooring throughout our house. Nick came and measured the job site and let us know exactly how they would do it and what we should expect. The installation was done within the estimated timeframe and the head contractor came out again to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Elite flooring as a whole was great to work with and reasonably prices compared to the other quotes received. Not the cheapest quote we received but it was fair and nowhere near the top price.

They were the subcontractor for my GC. They didn't adequately review the job before I was sent to select tiles for the walls or floors of my bathrooms. That resulted in my choosing tiles for my shower that were the wrong size. Their installer didn't stop when he realized there was a problem with the subflooring in one of my bathrooms or the tiles for my shower and continued the job thereby eliminating the opportunity to correct. Unfortunately the GC flaked out and Elite didn't stand behind the work that was done. The tiling in my bath was supposed to be redone but once the relationship with the GC failed, they never came back and fixed the work that was done.
