Don't apply here. I'd give them zero stars if I could. They discriminate against disabled people. I recently applied here and despite being conditionally approved, I was basically told savings/bankjng information is not legitimate enough way to pay rent despite how I showed three months of consistently high bank statements and I'm more than capable of paying a a year's rent. I'm permanently visually disabled because of my glaucoma. And I'm living off an inheritance until I can bring in more freelance income. They could get in a lot of trouble for discriminating against a disabled person and they are lucky I'm not suing them. Last time I checked, using an inheritance to pay rent is legal. What awful treatment. Their elitism and ableism is astounding.

I moved in to this building 12/28/23. I love living here. My apartment has the most amazing views, my neighbors are quiet, the concierge (Will) is super nice, the building is safe and the amenities are good.I wish they had a 1 bedroom open when I moved or they gave me the option to move into 1 when it became available but that's my luck with timing. The parking garage is full if you get in after 6pm and most likely have to park on the roof which is not covered. Overall, I would recommend the property. They do a nice job.

Sadly I felt discriminated for my age by the leasing agents as they would not respond to me and leave me out to dry as well surveil me when I would be at the location as if I was up to something suspicious. They definitely are not professional and visually show that they are disgusted by you even before and after you move in. Would think twice before moving here.

My wife and I lived here for 2 years, from 2021 to 2023, and we had a great time living here.Room:We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. The room was very clean and had very little wear and tear. The view was gorgeous, with the old capital building & Connecticut River on the east side and Pratt St. market on the north side.Staff:Fantastic staff. Management is friendly and responsive. Concierge is always very helpful. Cleaning is done thoroughly throughout the building. Maintenance/repair staff always came either on the same day or next day when we requested service (no major issues with hardware - we just had some minor leaking from the kitchen faucet and shower). Moving out went smoothly as well, and we got our deposit money back.Amenities:24/7 concierge and Amazon locker make it easy to get some help and receive packages. The bank aesthetic (the building used to be a bank) is charming. G Cafe Bakery is accessible without going outside for some drinks and baked goods. But the hands-down best amenity is the top (26th) floor, with a gym, study space, and reserve-able party/conference room. You can walk out to the veranda with a 360 degree view of the city (this is where I took my nighttime photo). One complaint I have is that the trash chute on each floor is sometimes not usable (maybe the trash is full, or someone didn't close the cute all the way on another floor). Another complaint is that the parking is a bit of a walk, even though it is accessible without having to exit the building.Convenience:I loved the location of this building. It is a 5 min walk to beautiful Bushnell Park, 10 min walk to Bushnell Performing Arts Center where you can watch shows including Broadway musicals, and 10 min walk to Hartford Union Station, where you can take a train to New York (including a direct train to Newark Airport) or bus to Boston, among many other destinations. There are also many other things to do, like the Connecticut Science Center (especially for kids), the convention center where they hold events like the annual Comic Con, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum which is free on certain days/hours, and countless good restaurants. We had to move away due to work, but if we had a choice, we would love to live here longer!

This has been by far my favorite place to live. Stacey, Jim, and Dawn in the office have always been such a pleasure to work with and always go above and beyond. The quality of apartments and service is better than anything I have been a part of. I don’t think you’ll be able to find a better deal, and you will love your apartment. If you’re on the fence about moving here, I would urge you to give it a chance. Between the rooftop terrace and other amenities, I can’t speak highly enough. I am having to move for personal reasons, and I very sad and depressed that I have to leave. I hope that I will be back and be able to move back in sometime in the future! 10/5 stars!

The staff is awesome, and the apartment itself is really nice. I love the huge floor-to-ceiling windows and how much natural light my apartment gets. I very rarely hear my next door neighbors, and I don’t hear anything from the units above or below mine. I haven’t had any issues with packages being stolen either. My only complaints are that the windows don’t open and that my bedroom doesn’t have a light in it. I added an air purifier, a bunch of snake plants, and a lamp, which made a huge difference. Overall, this is a great option if you are looking to live in downtown Hartford!

I posted this review on Google with photos, and they were removed. If you want any of the photos just DM me.Unsafe, lots of crime, homeless, and drug addicts. Petty management with a bad attitude. Seriously, don't move here. There was a woman beaten in an elevator, homeless people get into the building and hangout on the 26th floor. A neighbor had furniture stolen right in front of her door. What's worse, is I have an email from management asking people to just return the stolen item. This clearly shows the cameras they have in the hallways are NOT functional, or not recording. The neighbor who's furniture was stolen installed their own camera on the door. Also, there was a lady who was beaten in an elevator, that ACTUALLY happened!I'm attaching photos as evidence to show I'm not lying. First photo shows they leave the loading door wide open(taken at 4:30 am) Other photos 2 different homeless people sleeping on the property. Management says they cant and wont do anything about it.Other notables: Loading dock stinks like garbage all the time. People let their dogs pee anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE, elevators, doorways, lobby, you name it I have stepped in dog pee.Response to owner comment. Quoted incase they change it. EDIT WHICH THEY DID. THEY REMOVED THE ORIGINAL POSTING SO HERE IT IS BELOW"Response from the ownerHi Hunter - Unfortunately, your statements about the apartment community don't paint the full picture and are misleading given your recent management encounters. As you know, 777 Main is in a downtown environment and along with that location you occasionally encounter the challenges that come with urban living. One of the many features of 777 Main is that we offer first floor retail locations for added convenience and the loading dock is often open in the early morning hours, being necessary during deliveries. It's unfortunate that you chose this form of public retaliation. Our staff will continue to be available at any time to discuss your concerns further if you so choose."See this is the problem with management right here ^^^. Zero accountability and trying to cover up the fact that the door gets left open all the time.My response:You are right, they don't paint the full picture. I left more out, so I will add more of the photos. First, based on the way you have treated me, along with the problems with crime INSIDE and OUT of the building, how can you expect more than a 1 star rating? Its called the consequence of your actions and poor management. They removed my review on google to hide this, so I reposted it again. So yea.. 1 star, dont move here.

I've lived here for over twice as long as the tenure of the average tenant of this building. So I've seen the good the bad and the ugly. The Ugly:- Upon moving into this apartment I signed the lease that gave me one month free as advertised on their main web page. At the end of the lease, I wasn't granted this. The property management team told me all kinds of lies like they never do those kinds of deals. It was not until I sent them an email that they confirmed the free month in an email from 12 months prior. How many times has this happened to other people ?! - Equipment in the gym is often not repaired for months on end. Some weights have been missing for over a year- There were loose tiles on the roof that took years to mend- There was a dead pigeon on the terrace that wasn't taken for a month- You'll need an air filter. Upon moving into my apartment and turning on my Dyson. The app said the air quality was very poor.- You'll need a water filter. I've known quite a few people who got bad breakouts on first moving. I myself had one of the worse breakouts of my life.I was shocked when I got the water tested.- The concierge/security gossip a lotGood:- They have the best views in Hartford- Any apartment repairs are done promptly without concern- Beautiful lobby- The staff is friendly - Fast elevators- Safe building overall So now that you have spent $600+ on water filter/air filter. Spending well over $200+ for your utilities, parking and pet fees. On top of one of highest rents in the whole 06103. You can fully submerge yourself in a view so beautiful that you can almost forget your getting nickled and dimed by morally bankrupt clunks of capitalism .. Almost

Apartments are fine. But do not move here if you have a car. the parking garage is atrocious. You cannot reliably get in and out of the garage. Nothing works. The tag they give your does not communicate with the sensors, so the gate doesn't go up. the call button doesn't work. If you call the help line, you are put on hold. It is a daily frustration. The ownership of the building say they do not own the garage, and there is nothing they can do. Don't move here if you have a car.

THE WORST PLACE TO EVER LIVE IN. I am a student at the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy. I am set to move out in four days as I am completing my last year and becoming a doctor in NH. And although the staff here is amazing. The managers of this place are just ridiculous. For how much everyone pays to live here the rules here to make life easier especially as a student and especially when I’ve been in the hospital for months not even using my apartment is just messed up. A simple parking just so I can move stuff is already grounds for towing. I had surgeries done for my cancer treatment so moving around is painful but I was told to cancel my parking one month prior and then pay for parking or park any where else that isn’t the actual apartment to move stuff around. There also is no privacy when there are complaints, so if there is a problem be sure to know everyone will know about it. They don’t care about there residents at all, hopefully they don’t try to trick you with there refer a friend program as well. Students and or new residents think twice before coming here. Worst place ever. The staff of this place though PERFECT. I don’t want them to ever be lumped in with the managers of 777.
