“Enjoyed my lucky finds of pottery on my birthday and found some great hoodies for my son but passed on the painting that I’m regretting still! I hope someone scooped it up!”

“I stumbled upon this shop and was glad I stopped in. Friendly and cheery service. Lovely items well organized and displayed. The back room area is filled with candies and other unique food items. There are some really nice furniture pieces and prices are reasonable. I picked up 2 storage trunks and was told any purchase over $60 receives a 10 percent discount! Excellent. Nice place to stop in to see if anything strikes your fancy. Small private parking lot.”

“Hands down the best goodwill in Connecticut. The donation process was very easy, employees answered every question I asked and they were all very polite. After I donated I took the time to walk around and everything was in good condition. I will be coming back :)”

“Friendly Mom and Pop shop that does all levels of wood furniture repair and refinishing and painting along with lighting repair. Also, it is carrying a nice selection of lamp shades.”

“Reasonably priced vintage market. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and found exactly what I wanted. You have the staples like jackets, dresses, and shoes- but you also can find handkerchiefs with hand crocheted edges, aprons, dishware, accessories. There's also a few new items to purchase- fun stickers and earrings to name a few.I bought several cute aprons that just tie around the waist. They were functional as well as fashionable- with pockets and dish towels sewn in. I think they were hand made. Just incredible.”

“Such a cute store! The furniture annex is full of lamp shades and picture frames, with good prices. Over on the bric-a-brac and clothing side, the store is adorable but with narrow aisles. Given that the aisles were too small for me to comfortably squeeze down, I figured the sparkly and enticing clothing selection would also run too small and didn't put effort into browsing it. Prices are higher than Goodwill but lower than antique stores, so I feel I got an incredible bargain on my pair of metal owls and paid a modest, bargain-ish price for my shell mirror. Staff is nice, store smells delicious -- it's worth finding it hidden down by the train station for the furniture annex and jewelry alone.”

“I found the jumper of my dreams, I am so happy!! :) I discovered them rather by accident and wasn't expecting to be this positively surprised. Virginia and Eva are such lovely people, I find their hands on attitude regarding opening a cool thrift shop & community space very inspiring. Also love their social media game. All the best!!”

“I liked this store. It's a true thrift store with actual thrift store prices. OK selection of clothes, I managed to find a vintage mid-length leather coat that looked like it was straight from the 70s! Great find! But if you're looking for housewares this is the place. A lot of items are stacked on top of one another, dig deep, you never know what you'll find.As I already mentioned fair prices and the employees aren't afraid to make a decision on their own if there's not a tag on things.Happy hunting!”

“Beware this isn’t a retail goodwill. It’s a center. I made the mistake of going there to shop but was told that it was a center that provides programs and services, pretty cool but not a store.”

“The Branford Goodwill is my favorite. The staff is exceptional helpful, courteous, caring, knowledgeable. Items are fairly prices, well organized on racks and shelves. The store is clean and ALL CDC guidelines are followed to ensure a safe and healthy shopping experience. Wear a mask and follow the one way isle markings. Thank you staff.”

“My dad basically comes here every week- that's not an exaggeration lol. It is a great place to get used furniture, fixtures, lights, so many items that get donated and are for sale. Great selection week by week. If you want it you need to buy it before it's gone!”

“This architecture reminds me of former Circuit City, cuz it used to be one before that whole entire company went out of business. There's a lot of merchandise although those shelves get a bit messy in some areas. The employees are nice. Self-checkouts available at this store.I've found a book that I liked for that reasonable price. Not too bad though not as interesting as most other Savers I've been to in CT.Savers and Goodwill are only within a minute or two from each other on the same route, which is sorta ironic.”

“I love this store except the fact that employees are allowed to smoke right by the front door. My son and I have asthma and smoke is a big trigger. I’m fine with people smoking but I don’t want to have to walk through it and then cough and hope I don’t have an asthma attack. Maybe they could smoke in the back of the building? Otherwise, most of the employees are super sweet and helpful.”

“Everything is fine except that the clothes are used and even if they are brand name it is no longer worth it, they put it at 4.99 also the same as the other shirts”
