Simply just horrible. All they care about is the rent . Where I lived was so infested with rodents . And if you complain to much you get threatened with eviction . I rather be homeless than get another apartment with team again

Anna Feigelman and Steve Friedman are slumlords. I’ve been at my current address for more than five years and there are issues around the house that have gone unadresses since day one. Now I have water coming through my bathroom in my bedroom ceilings, they have known about these issues for months and refuse to address them in a timely fashion. This property is falling apart, they continue to neglect simple repairs and when they do make repairs, they are usually shoddy, makeshift repairs. And if you complain to them or the city, they will intentionally ignore you out of spite. Renters beware!

Worst living experience ever. The customer service is rude when you eventually do get a call back. I moved in and the apartment was a mess. They gave me the wrong keys 3 times so I didn't get to have access to the apartment until 2 days after I signed the lease. The building was messy and in disrepair, a complete fire hazard in the laundry room with the dryer full of lint and no vent. I had several maintenance issues when I moved in and the response was slow. My broken refrigerator was replaced with a used one that smelled like chemicals and leaked. Their response was "you can move if you aren't happy".

Leah from Team Realty was amazing. I moved from Texas, and she went above and beyond to help me find a place, get me settled, and answer all my questions. I can't recommend her enough, especially if you are moving to New Haven from out-of-state.

Rented commercial property and it was worse than I could have ever imagined opening my first business. The Owner and one of his partners care nothing for commercial tennants. It seemed like everyday I was threatened with something horrible by the owner (I have EVERYTHING documented) and I couldn't have run a cleaner ship. Meanwhile, the many residential tennants that he/TEAM have are allowed to use and sell drugs, stumble around jacked on alcohol, heroine and whatever else. As well as break into and steal from the commercial spaces right in front of TEAM's eyes. Why? Well, my "guess" is us commercial people get real tired of it and leave quite often, especially when we are putting up our own money. However, residential customers are guaranteed section 8 income and they can get away with murder so long as TEAM keeps them around to get those guaranteed checks.Just trust me, I haven't touched the tip of the iceberg. It's BAD. I don't want to tell you not to rent commercially from TEAM, but I want to warn you. I personally would never rent again and if you're thinking about it. Ask yourself-why is rent so cheap? Because so few stay. This comes from someone with very high morals who does not want to see anyone else lose all or a large part of their savings or even a loan. Your dream will be crushed with TEAM.TEAM is not concerned with morals, just the check that comes with a tennant, no matter the baggage they bring. In the large building I was in, I can factually say this and sleep well at night. Because I've experienced it personally and have evidence to back it up. But if you do, decide to, rent commercial space from TEAM, it is VERY wise to get a pistol permit. And I am soooo anti gun, liberal, progressive.P.S. I think section 8 is a great thing, especially for those in deep need.TEAM takes advantage of section 8 and is all about the rich getting richer at any cost. At least one of their locations will be reported soon for things not mentioned in this review. Probably :)As I said, this was nothing more than the tip of the iceberg.PSS If I suddenly get murdered (legitimate fear) this review should help the police.PSSS I just want to say how awful I feel for the residents not on section 8 but are stuck in a lease. If there are any, I'm calling on Hamden,CT to investigate and help these people PLEASE. It's 2016 for goodness sake

Worst Real Estate/property management company I have ever dealt with!!! They are not organized, have poor customer service, and are out to get your money not provide you with a home. When I met Steve, the representative I had to deal with, I told him I had a dog and that my dog had play dates. He agreed to rent the apartment to me, had me sign a contract agreeing to rent the property, and give the deposit. I then had to go to the office in Hamden to sign the lease. The date and time that I was scheduled to sign, the receptionist or assistant was not there. No one in the office could help me, I had to go back at a later date and time. Finally I get to the office when someone could provide me with the lease. I read the lease which included a pet addendum. The pet addendum stated "no pet sitting, play dates, or other dogs in the apartment." At this point I refused to sign and requested my deposit back. Steve rudely informed me that I was not getting my deposit back because I withheld information and now he won't able to rent the apartment. If you choose to deal with this company after reading this I recommend you retain a lawyer first and read the entire lease before signing anything. Also, Connecticut state law protects the landlord's right to keep the deposit. So now I am out $1000.00

Team Realty is one of the worst experiences I've ever had to deal with. I rented commercial space from them for about a year and it was like grinding teeth the entire way through. They are unorganized, do not return phone calls, and lose track of payments. If you have problems with anything... forget about complaining or placing a phone call because no matter what you do, it won't get done. On top of this, I had to wait an entire month to receive my security deposit back in the mail because they kept misplacing the check instead of sending it out. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.
