I only had a haircut and blow dry. Called same day and they squeezed me in with the junior styler. He was great. The place was comfortable and not crowded. Just the way I wanted it. Great haircut at an intimate place.

I saw David V. For a root touch up and glaze. He got the color match spot on and the glaze he put in my hair made it look like I got a haircut but I didn’t!! He was very professional and great at educating me about the products he was using and how they worked on my hair. 10/10 would recommend!!

Great place. A little pricey, but you pay for the quality and professionalism. I especially like Rihanna, she doesn't push me into a box and let me choose what I want while providing necessary insights to achieve best results.

I've seen Rhi two times so far, and she has done a great job both times. She makes it a point to make sure I get my haircut the way I want. She is also super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

I've been seeing Katharine for years. My kids (16 yo girl and 14 yo boy) see Rhi. They are both highly trained professional stylists. We always leave Small Talk Salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. ❤️

I got a beautiful haircut today. Rhiannon was really friendly, and listened well when I was explaining my ideal haircut. I will definitely go to her from now on.The salon was super clean and the vibe was great! Such a great experience!

I moved here from out of state and chose Rhiannon based on online reviews. I've been back regularly since. Rhiannon takes the time to really listen. I went from very long hair to short and am very happy with it. I've seen that Rhiannon also does beautiful wedding makeup! Another thing, the salon itself is subdued, not the nightclub atmosphere that so many have. Highly recommended.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I got to meet the owner Katherine and we had wonderful conversation. The inside of the salon was very cute, comfortable, clean, and Covid safe (dividers). I’m a student at Quinnipiac and they do offer a student discount! Although, I felt like the prices for their services were very reasonable for the most part. I had my appointment with Laurie and she did an amazing job. I love my hair! She was so quick to answer my questions before the appointment. She was also the sweetest. What I really appreciated was how clear she was with what she was doing as she was cutting my hair, and updating me on what she was doing next. She was great at communicating throughout the appointment. It really made the overall experience more comfortable and relaxing because I haven’t had a haircut at a salon since before Covid. It was nice to know what was going on as it was happening. I would recommend to anyone and I look forward to coming back.Services: Hairstyling

I love this Salon! The entire staff is friendly and dedicated to making their customers happy. Laurie Rowley has been cutting,coloring and styling my hair for 10 years. I am new to Hamden. Had been searching for a good salon for sometime. I am so glad I found them. They are clean professional and follow the covid guidelines.I am very particular about my hair and have got thick hairs. I had to get a haircut after a longtime so was very careful in choosing the right place.I went there after reading so many good reviews about the owner Katherine and other great hair artists.Had very long, waist length hairs and had to get shoulder length layered cut with front angled hair, which is a huge change. I am so glad I found them and took my chances.Laurie did my haircut. She is extremely skilled professional and an amazing soul too. She is the goddess of hair artists.We connected instantly and yes she understands hair and is a master in her craft. She is very patient, listened to all my needs and gave her valuable inputs too which were very helpful.She was very careful as she was cutting my hair for the first time. She was in no hurry, took time and gave me a beautiful and perfect haircut. Made my hairs lighter and much more manageable.It is one of the best haircuts that I ever got. My husband couldn't stop appreciating it and loved it. Even my toddler liked it too & gave me a beautiful smile after seeing my new look.I got so many compliments on my new style.I was really surprised at how deeply Laurie understands her craft & profession, can relate to ones lifestyle & help accordingly.I know this for sure that it can only come with a lot of experience and hard work.I completely agree with all other reviewers here who wont stop raving about her.
