“I have never been a fan of "Gas Station" grub. But Alltown Fresh on Dixwell Ave. Hamden is a pleasant exception. Stopped in and coffee os fresh brewed. Breakfast sandwiches are made in front of you, high quality and delicious. Definitely my mew go to place when passing thru Hamden. Right off exit 60 pf Wilbur Cross Parkway.”

“I was stuck on the Merritt with a flat during rush hour and pulled on the grass because there was no shoulder. After AAA called in my issue to Wheelers, and I waited 90 minutes and made 3 calls, AAA finally called it in to Mike's who were there in 2 mins. “Ron and his family are the absolute best! Huge selection of vaping supplies, cbd, lottery and smoke shop type products. Family owned business, Ron has been here for 20+ years, as well as his wife, father and brother. Very easy and gentle, not rude or impatient at all whatsoever. I didn't have the money for my coffee and food one morning and he let me pay him back a few days later no problem. (I'm not saying he's gonna give away everything for free, just want to show what good people these are.) Also, one time, I bought a product that was defective, brought it back the next day and he immediately replaced it no problem. This was the only time I've ever bought anything that didn't work here and I've been supporting them for a while; never had any issues before or since. Highly recommended!”

“This is a great little local gas station. I like Sunoco because they offer 91 Octane . Unlike other stations that only offer 93 (in addition to 87 and 89). Once my car ran out of gas and I walked there, borrowed a gas can and filled up my car. Another time my muffler fell off and their repair shop hung it back up for for a couple bucks. Oh -I almost forgot, the handles on their gas pumps actually lock into place so you don't have to hold the lever. And for the really cold mornings - pull up to the full serve pump so you can stay in the car.”

“Nice place to go for lower gas prices and the station itself is clean and organized. The staff greet you with a smile which is always nice. They have a good but smaller selection of drinks and snacks. I mostly go beach use it’s clean and cheaper. Try to pay in cash since you save that way too.”

“Pump payment malfunctioned and as I cursed at it and backed up to another pump, the attendant came outside and nicely asked me what happened, and waited while I tried the next pump to be sure it worked OK. He apologized and went back inside.It was probably my fault anyway, but I appreciated his coming out to make sure I was good!”

“Stumbling across this review probably wondering why a gas station should have 5 stars. Well buckle up buckaroo because you're in for a treat. Whom ever owns this 7-Eleven should be very happy with their staff and the cleanliness of the convenience store. It is ALWAYS clean. 10pm stop for random chips and drink.. clean.. 6am stop for morning fuel (car and myself).. clean. Staff is friendly and is always welcoming. And says more than "is that it".. treats me like a human. Gasp.. what a concept. Kudos to the staff.. not always easy to leave an impression for a simple gas station transaction. Also need to mention the selection of hate your self foods is amazing and always stocked. So don't judge this 7-Eleven by its location. Go inside and get a slush and 17 other things you weren't intending on buying.. it's worth it.”

The amount of food available, many employees customer service, microwave for brought products and hardwork i seen employees do, the patience, the gas isn't watered down, I've been to many gas stations and this isn't the type of store many usually won't be in a really big hurry to want to leave”
