If you are looking for vintage tools, machines, or any industrial items, materials, parts, work benches, or any of the thousands of incredible things ,then this place is absolutely amazing!Just know that this is not Ikea or Harbor frieght- the vast assortment of items here at brooksvale artisans are dusty, dirty, and stacked and piled in a way that those who know the awesomeness of what we have can appreciate. We go far and get dirty ourselves in finding and aquiring these items and we pride ourselves in being able to tell you the purpose, and history , of everything we offer. We are here for those of you who appreciate and love what we have and for those people who appreciate finding and buying the exact tool , work bench , or machine, that they need for their business to get the job done.Lastly, for those of you like the obnoxious and belligerent woman who threatened us with horrible reviews on every social media platform today because SHE mistakenly read information wrong and could not have things as she demanded- well, hopefully you and your therapist can work on your bitterness and anger and sense of entitlement. If you work your issues out, and your therapist thinks it's ok for you to return to the scene of your meltdown, come on back and I'm sure we can come to terms on the item you so much wanted.BROOKSVALE ARTISANS - WE AIM TO PLEASE.

Everything was extremely overpriced. There wasn't even a showroom that could have justified the price of everything. Everything was dusty and filthy and we had to dig for things and he still was out pricing us.That is fine if you want a salvage experience where you dig for stuff and then you can get a deal. But there were NO deals. When we tried to negotiate because literally things were moldy the owner got pissed at us. Salvaged materials should be a deal. If he wants customers to pay more he needs to restore stuff himself and then show it. Absolutely ridiculous. He also charged us $100 for a table he put legs on and he drilled through the wood.I also wanted to buy some little unique tools and he started to harass me and question if I even needed them or knew what they were. Unprofessional. He has no reason to be in the salvage business. Absurd.

Place is both amazing and insane. There are two areas and the hours to public are short, but if you have the chance and right time in a Saturday it's breathtaking.

I've been looking for a large flat file for a long time. They had a large selection and helped me through the selection process, then refinished it nicely. It looks great, and service was good. I also got it delivered, and didn't have to contact a third party for delivery, which simplified the process quite a bit. Thank you!

Looks like I should have checked this page before contracting Brooksvale Artisans. Like everyone else here, I contracted Alan and Bonee Jarman to build be a custom flat file table. At first, they were responsive and helpful. They sent me an invoice for a deposit of $2000 which I paid in august of 2021. After payment, they went silent. I've called, emailed, messaged multiple times. They just stole the money. What a shame.

Similar to the previous reviewers, I made a purchase for a custom flat file. After communication via Etsy, Email and then a lengthy phone call Alan Jarman sent me an invoice for $1250 via Square, which I paid immediately with the agreement the flat file would be delivered 5-7 days later. He has now gone silent after multiple weeks of emails from me inquiring about the status, messages on Etsy and phone calls without a response, and it has been a month now since I made payment. I am afraid that I was also scammed and wish I had checked Yelp reviews prior to making this purchase.

In October I ordered flat files for art storage from them via Etsy. I talked with "Alan Jarman" at length on the phone about my order. I paid my deposit of a $1,000 through a third party sent through a link on Etsy and I still haven't seen anything and it's now December. This guy is a con artist. Beware.

Wow! This is some place else. Never seen a place like this. Lots of vintage industrial machinery and tools. An incredible place, if you're into antiques and/or tools. I highly recommend a visit.

In late July, I ordered a custom file cabinet from this business and sent over a $500 deposit. The cabinet was promised for late August delivery. Since sending the deposit, the vendor has gone silent and is not responding to any of my multiple queries about where the order stands. I have reported their practices to the BBB, the state attorney's office and am still getting no replies. I would avoid ordering any custom work from them at all cost.

Don't seem to be interested in actually selling anything based on prices and the piles and piles of stuff. Just a hoarders warehouse.Since the owner responded, I walked in with $2,000 cash looking for vintage machinery and one vice, based on the pictures I saw online, I was very excited just to come by and look at these things. In reality, good luck even walking around in some areas. For the prices here it would be cheaper to pay inflated ebay prices and pay $150 freight shipping than to buy here.

This place is a waste of time. It is impossible to find or reach anything and the owner is completely unreasonable with prices. This is mostly a pile of junk and a justification for a hoarder.
