“I brought a broken dining room chair which was part of an expensive set we purchased a couple of years ago. They fixed it and it looked wonderful. Very satisfied and impressed with their work . Nice people also.”

155 Meadow St, Branford“Such a cute store! The furniture annex is full of lamp shades and picture frames, with good prices. Over on the bric-a-brac and clothing side, the store is adorable but with narrow aisles. Given that the aisles were too small for me to comfortably squeeze down, I figured the sparkly and enticing clothing selection would also run too small and didn't put effort into browsing it. Prices are higher than Goodwill but lower than antique stores, so I feel I got an incredible bargain on my pair of metal owls and paid a modest, bargain-ish price for my shell mirror. Staff is nice, store smells delicious -- it's worth finding it hidden down by the train station for the furniture annex and jewelry alone.”
“Act II Thrift Shop is a hidden gem! The selection of items is impressive, with a wide variety of clothing, accessories, and household items at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The store is well-organized, making it easy to browse and find treasures. Whether you're looking for unique vintage pieces or everyday essentials, Act II Thrift Shop is the place to go. Plus, knowing that your purchases support a good cause adds to the overall satisfaction. Highly recommended for thrift shoppers seeking quality finds!”
“We've been here a couple times now and always leave with something(s). The women at the register are always very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of nice things. I bought some nice jewelry this time. We drive half an hour to visit and it's well worth it.”
