I don't understand why folks give this location poor reviews. I have used this Quest multiple times and have never had a problem. The employees are patient and kind. The people that dont like the check-in system are typically technologically challenged. That is not a reflection on the employees.

The phlebotomist was very professional and cordial, and the text-sign in was very easy!

Staff was behind schedule and in rushing, the blood draw left a 3” black and blue bruise along my wrist which then migrated about 5” up my arm. As well, the draw was extremely painful.

I've been to a few other Quest Diagnostics labs in CT. North Haven and Branford before today. My experience at this address was very good. Employees were very professional and amenable to deal with.Having read a few negative reviews on this particular Quest Lab from 9-12 months ago, I was worried. But my experience this morning was a very good one. Looking forward to more of the same going forward.

Had an appointment at 7:10 AM today. One other person had an appointment at the same time and his name was clearly shown on the LED display in the waiting room. I knew it was not a good sign when the technician called out a different name than either of us. She called it out several times and, of course, no one responded. Finally she went into the back room and came back several minutes later, sans apology, with the correct name. However, that wasn't the main problem. When I went into the room where my blood draw was to be made, I was asked by the frontline technician to produce the "paperwork" from my physician. I told her that I had been told by my medical provider's test scheduler that there was no "paperwork" at all and that the blood test orders had been transmitted electronically so that they would be visible to any Quest location without me having to produce any "paperwork." She continued to insist that she had no "paperwork" and could not proceed. I showed her the actual detailed email from the test scheduler and she called the number, but that office did not open until 8:30. I kept insisting that there must be a record in their system. Finally, after about a delay of 10-15 minutes, she suddenly found the necessary test order which had in fact been electronically transmitted by my health provider and had been there the entire time.I told her that perhaps this inconvenience illustrated why their facility only gets a 2.3 rating on Google Maps. She then proceeded to accuse me of being "rude." At no time did she issue an apology. Then she left the room and her supervisor came in. I immediately told the supervisor that I was unhappy with the service I had received, but the supervisor reacted surprisingly defensively and told me in a condescending tone that I had made the technician "uncomfortable." I observed the fact that it was me, not her, who had been the victim of poor service. The supervisor scoffed at that and brusquely asked if I wished to proceed with the blood test or not. Given the alternative of having to re-schedule at another facility with the prospect of not having the results in time for my hospital procedure appointment on Thursday, I said to go ahead with the test. At no time did this supervisor apologize to me for what was truly a lousy experience.I will never use them again.

Quest is a dreadful operation. They are indicative of the horrible quality of health care available in the US. This location is disinterested and always run late.

Super obnoxious staff. My son showed up for fasting blood work this morning and had forgotten his mask. The staff could have provided him with a 25cent mask but they sent him away instead. So he goes to the store and buys a mask, and when he returns they tell him he missed his appointment and the wait now will be more than an hour. That's just obnoxious. There is no need to punish someone for showing up without a mask - he's not even an anti-masker. Really annoying. Some wacko on a power trip.
