“Great outfit! They just helped up grade from oil to gas. This is an inherently challenging undertaking for us -- but working with JP was really a pleasure and he guided us from beginning to end -- professionally, efficiently, with patience for a zillion questions, and reassuring us that it would all work out great -- which it did! JP helped us to feel comfortable with all of the decision points -- cutting through lots of variables -- making sure we got exactly what we wanted -- and showing a lot of flexibility when it came time to schedule the actual install. I was honestly dreading it -- an old oil tank had to come out of our basement -- as well as giant original boiler dating back to the 60's -- it seemed like a lot could go wrong. But no -- the Sullivan team are all pros. A bunch of technicians came -- they worked incredibly hard and were clean and organized and highly efficient -- you instantly knew that they do this a lot -- they know their stuff -- they got everything done faster than expected and there were no "oops" moments. Our home is transformed! We really value working with a trusted local company that has pride of workmanship and who clearly cares about their customers. A rarity these days. Thank you JJ Sullivan!”

“We have been customers of East River for many years and with good reason! East River staff, Mike P, Carol R, Chris L, Penny (RIP), and James always bring their "A" game to work and provide the best customer service. I recently learned first-hand the company's owner, Jesse Herzog, sets the standard for excellent customer service. After a recent issue I sent an email and Jesse replied, phoning me on the weekend, (yes-on the weekend!!) not only to apologize but also to rectify the issue. The word "impressed" cannot begin to describe my reaction. Our interaction made me realize not only is Jesse an amazing customer-oriented owner, in addition, he is an amazing boss who provides the same excellent customer service I've received over the years from the employees named in this review. Most of the staff I mentioned have been employed by ER for many years which tells me the Herzog family are not only dedicated to their customers but also to their staff. The result-great employees who know their customers and provide excellent customer service every time! I cannot recommend East River highly enough and would give 10 stars if possible!!”

“We have been using Dougherty Oil since we bought our home over 20 years ago. We receive our oil as well as have them service oil heater and air conditioning. We have had no heat on a holiday and someone was here within an hour.”
