Pet Care
Guilford Veterinary Hospital
81 Saw Mill Rd, GuilfordOur two tuxedo cat sisters were given their annual exam by Dr Soucy and her assistant.
Both exams were detailed and thorough and both Emily and Frida were handled gently. We were given helpful and experience- based information and advice regarding our concerns for their care going forward.
Perfect visit. Attentive, un-rushed, clean office, on time appointment. Definitely five stars.

Pets' Friend Animal Hospital
2477 Boston Post Rd, GuilfordDr. Alter and his staff are top tier and wonderful. Great expertise, decent fees and a genuine love for animals keep me coming back year after year. They sincerely adore and care about my cats; it's steadily apparent. Dr. Alter also saved - and preserved - the life of one of my cats whom he diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. After the necessary tests and realizing that surgery was impossible, he prescribed potent medication and baby aspirin, which kept her viable and comfortable for three and a half more years than she would've had previously without a proper diagnosis. I will ALWAYS be grateful to Dr. Alter and his staff for their knowledge and kindness.

Central Hospital For Veterinary Medicine- Guilford
535 Boston Post Rd, GuilfordWe had to go there twice in one week for our little one. We thought the first experience was impressive. Between the doctor, the nurse Morgan and the receptionist Kayla, they were all wonderful and helpful and proactive. On our second night, we met Zach. We still wonder whether Zach was real or an angel sent to help us during a very stressful time. He was lovely, kind, helpful, calming, I can go on and on. Zach is a wonderful asset to this amazing hospital. Thank you Zach for being so wonderful to us and our little Dexter.

The Place Restaurant
901 Boston Post Rd, GuilfordA large group of friends have been gathering at this fun place to eat as often as we can. The no-frills business model is brilliant. Cash only (there's an ATM for the uninitiated.) Simple menu. BYOB.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or doors to contend with. Roll straight from the parking lot to your table. It's all outdoors under a large circus tent ? with stumps and plastic chairs for seats that can be moved to make room for wheelchairs. There were a few happy customers who wheeled their way in and bellied up to the table with no hassle. When it's a full house, I imagine it can get a little tight to maneuver though.
