It's a very nice convenient inn. They offer everything breakfast. Outside many eateries for dinner. It's on post road so you can go up and down to sightsee. The manager allows you checkout upto 12pm if you request.

This was a last-minute stop, and I was super happy that they had availability. Staff was so sweet to this very tired traveler. Room was clean and big. Served breakfast in the am. Thumbs up ?

I was laying in bed when i saw something crawling on my pillow. I jumped up to see a bed bug right next to my head. They offered to switch my room but i really did not feel comfortable being anywhere in the hotel. I had to run to walmart and buy things to spray down my suitcase and clothing. Shame.

Our room was very nice. They cleaned up our room for us without even having to ask. They made sure we were welcomed.

The Comfort Inn in Guilford, CT, is a wonderfully cozy and safe haven from the storms encountered over-the-road. So, if you happen by this part of our world, I highly recommend staying here for superior service and peace of mind.

Stayed here for work, the beds are very hard, my ro had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom above the shower. Vending machines were nearly empty, and very expensive. $3 for a Gatorade. Breakfast was not great. Only good thing was really the bacon. The eggs still tasted like powder, the cheese Danish's hardly had any cream cheese or other toppings to make up for the really hard to chew older tasting bread. They have a self serve waffle station, but the waffles were very artificial tasting with zero flavor like they used a very very bland waffle mix. They had yogurts ans boiled eggs, which i didnt trust the boiled eggs. They had single serve boxes of cereal but not every day(4 night stay) they also had fruit like apples, and oranges. Showers were nice, ok pressure. Not many places to sit outside. 2 picnic tables on either side of the building, and 2 benches which ended under construction the day we left. This location has one single electric car plug that says tesla.Rooms: Hard beds, mold above the shower, very thin sheets and the blind would not stay closedWalkability: There is very little near by thats walking friendly. Wendys is a good almost mile down the road with very short useless sidewalks that do not go the whole way.Food & drinks: Pizza, wendys, chinese, dairy queen, McDonald's all within walking distance. Not great walkabilities due to lack of sidewalksThe Chinese place across the street was absolutely amazing. Its in the plaza with a vape stoee, a pizza place, a mexican food place. The chicken wing are a must have. You get 8 for $10 , they are small but taste like you wanna go back for moreNoteworthy details: Not great breakfast or beds, but its a place to sleep. There is a beach 8 minutes by car or 45 minutes walking.

My room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast service was extremely poor both mornings I stayed there. The morning help could actually refill breakfast items instead of sitting on the couch in the lobby on their phone. Both days had terrible service in regards to customer service and breakfast duties. The check-in hospitality was great and so was the evening employees.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our way to Boston because they have a Tesla charger. We didn't expect much and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the town. The room was clean and comfortable. There were a few places to eat at walking distance. We bought dinner and ate in the room's dinning table. We'll definitely come back here when we go back to New England.

Recently stayed here for a week. Visibly a very clean room. Plenty of towels. There were some loud guests but I'll include us in that grouping because I had children with me who fight incessantly. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for work over the years and the continental breakfast was very good when compared to previous experiences. The kids loved the waffle station and cereal choices. Not a far drive from the beach and central/within an hour to most exciting things to do on the CT shoreline. Great price for what we valued.

The 1st nite I reported a torn shear curtain in the room but no one responded to my report, certainly makes the place look shabby. The room was very clean & good daily clean up service. People at the desk were always helpful. 2 exterior doors need maint., would Not self close & lock, both a security & poor maint. issue. Decent value & I would stay there again.

My family stays here every year. Clean, nice staff and generally quiet. Hands down best place to stay in the area. I am a former housekeeper and believe me, it's the only hotel I don't feel like I have to re-clean! Breakfast is delish too. Will not stay anywhere else during our family beach vacay. Highly

Stayed in the Guilford Suite and it was nice. Very spacious only thing wrong is there was a stain on the carpet. The water in the shower had very little pressure. Breakfast looked fine but decided to go somewhere else. I would stay here again and the price for a 2 king bed suite was a steal.

We stayed here this past weekend while we were in the area for a wedding. The wedding we attended was at a beautiful hotel on the shore in Madison, but the rooms cost over five hundred dollars a night. We found the guilford comfort inn was only a couple miles away, and a fraction of the price. It was a seamless, easy booking online. I was notified of my reservation through both email and text. Check in was friendly and easy. Our room was better than we expected for the low price we paid, complete with a coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator. Everything was very clean, and the a/c worked amazing which we were grateful for during a heat wave in Connecticut. We were also pleasantly surprised that they served a very nice breakfast in the morning that was included with our stay. (It may have been advertised as included but I didn't read about it, so it was a bonus surprise for us!)We are very satisfied with our booking, and would recommend this place to anyone that needs a place to crash for the weekend as we did during our time at the shore.

It's a comfortable motel right off Boston Post Road. The rooms are well appointed, plenty of clothes hangers, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator/freezer, TV, microwave, coffee pot and pods, USB chargers, and towels and amenities. Complimentary Breakfast 6-10 am. Tesla charging stations. The rooms facing the back are a little quieter, the ones facing the street are also quiet. The double lock on the door could be opened with the room key from the outside. F/D was informed of the security breech.
