Booked a charter over 3 weeks ago for this weekend, was told we’ll firm up earlier in the week what kind of trip. Called yesterday to check in, lady who took my call mentioned something about 2 charters being booked, mine one of them, will get a call back from Capt. Got call back today cancelling saying going to be too rough (3 days away and forecast currently is not bad according to NWS) and the “striper fishing is nonexistent, sea bass is mediocre.” I offered to talk to my crew and see if might want to chance it and still go, was told firmly were canceled. Let’s just say the other captains I spoke with afterwards felt fishing has been pretty good. Pretty sure I was double booked and ditched, glad I found another charter.

The staff are very friendly, but the stock of materials, lures and rods is frustrating, i would much rather give my money to a local store especially one thats 3 streets down from me! Multiple times i have stopped in for lures,or certin hooks and they dont have it, once for a new rod they didnt have it either, it would be great to spend my money and know it goes towards a local business other then a big corporate store!
