It’s our favorite post office. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. There is a convenient parking lot with a drive up mailbox is you’re in a hurry. However keep an eye the time - the hours are limited.

This is definitely the best post office I've used & I'm 84 years old. The service is courteous & helpful!! What more could you ask? Oh yes and there's enough parking!!

We had a ton of things to send this holiday. I stay home with our baby, and couldn't take the boxes and the baby by myself into the post office, so I asked my husband, who is active duty military, to help me when he got off of work at 4. We went to pick up our other child from daycare, and got to the post office at 4:20 (approx). There was a huge line for the holidays, as expected, and our baby was screaming in the car and the toddler was acting up, so my husband suggested he drive us a short way home and come back to send the packages. He got there at approximately 4:45pm, and was packing things up, when a postal worker told him he had to leave because it was now 5pm. Here was my husband, IN uniform, trying to send packages to our family members. Not saying we should get special treatment, but he was there before 5. The man locked him out of the post office as he was left standing outside with packages, and the explanation he got was that it was too bad, he should have been ready. It's a shame that that's how they treat our military members, let alone people in general. My husband's father works at a Post Office, and he would never have treated someone this way. Additionally, last year, my mom-in-law sent a package to our street with the numbers transposed-82 instead of 28-and they said the package had been delivered when I checked. However, there is NO 82 house number on our street. I called and tried to see if they had kept the package by mistake, but no one was helpful. Eventually I called the company, told them what had happened, and they sent another item out (Keen, they are great)!

Worst post office I know. I've known many post offices and have family who work in post offices. This one will not deliver packages to your door if you are one floor up from the mail box in an apartment complex. They immediately put the "sorry we missed you" notice in your mailbox. Completely defeats the purpose of priority mail, express, and amazon prime. As a matter of fact, my wife put in a similar review last year here and I see nothing has changed.

Do not ship abroad from this post office- maybe try Mystic or UPS! Shipped a gift to my boyfriend in the navy in the UK and for some reason the package was sent back to my house after landing in the UK post office. Both sides ( the Royal Mail and USPS) do not know why it was shipped back to my house- both saying "this has never happened before." Instead of USPS being helpful and accommodating over this, when I was extremely upset the $40 package I shipped failed to make it to its destination for no reason at all, they refused to refund my money or help to expedite the package back to the UK. The Post Master, Steve I believe, and supervisor, Megan, failed to provide me any support simply saying it wasn't there problem. After I called the USPS customer service line twice explaining to them my situation they said I would have NO PROBLEM getting a refund on my package. I explained this to the USPS Groton location and still they refused to refund me- major discrepancy between the local branches and main USPS! DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY THROUGH THIS GROTON LOCATION THEY ARE NOT SYMPATHETIC AND WILL NOT GO OUT OF THERE WAY TO PLEASE A CUSTOMER! Horrific customer service!

This post office is in a nice, tucked away area. It's not usually busy, and the woman that works there is very nice and helpful.

Around Christmas time the mail started to appear in my mailbox again and I thought that maybe someone from the post office read the review. Not! This was a one week occurrence, the regular postman must have been on vacation. I did receive mail for someone who has never lived there and clipped it to the box with a note written "return to sender". It's been there for 3 weeks now.

Worst post office I have ever been to and the carrier doesn't deliver packages to my door. It's hard to get to the post office with a newborn and no car.

TERRIBLE customer service. They delivered several hundred dollars worth of packages to the wrong address, and instead of doing something about it or even pretending to care, they wasted hours of my time and accomplished nothing. The supervisor is extremely rude. At least employees at the counter are friendly.
