When we visit Mystic, we come to this store multiple times each visit. They have an amazing selection of unique and rare liquors and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about all of them. The prices are on par with most other liquor stores despite the curate selection. If you are in the area and are a wine and spirit enthusiast, then this is a must visit store.

The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to help. They are wonderful guides through all things beer, wine, liquor and N/A and do so unpretentiously and passionately. It’s the best shop and selection around.

Best wine shop in Connecticut. The absolute least pretentious and most knowledgeable staff on the planet. You will come for a quick bottle and leave with knowledge and a smile.

The wine selection is great. Liquor is marked up very high, so I only get specific hard to find things there. They have just been really missing the mark lately, but would still give 5 stars if everyone that worked there was as amazing as Jules. Unfortunately, there is a pretentious douchebag and the pretentious owner, David, that sometimes works at this location that I avoid like the plague. That’s one of many reasons I try to only go to the Groton location, but they refuse to put a full selection there which means I always end up having to special order everything. Also want to give an extra Star for Emily who is totally awesome, super helpful, and makes up for a lot of the douchery.

We stopped in for a bottle of wine to take back to the room (Steamboat Inn is steps away!!!) and were delighted to find such a logical selection, wide in both well known (and some obscure) brands… just not deep (maybe five bottles per) which makes sense.Blown away by the number of exotic bitters in stock. What a friendly bunch!

They have a huge selection of liquor and wine. Whenever I am Mystic I stop by to stock up on whiskeys that I have a hard time finding at home.

I wanted to surprise my husband with some tasty local CT beers, and Jules and the team went above and beyond. SO knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Their recommendations were spot on. I can't recommend them enough!!
